It took them almost 6 weeks to show up to put in the deck and then what should have taken a few days to install took over a week. I was constantly calling them to see if they were going to show up. They finally installed my deck, but I am still trying three weeks later to get them to come back and finish the job. I would not recommend them.

This company started out in good standing. Tony got permits for us, submitted drawings to our HOA…read more Then once the job got started, it moved very slowly. The workers took numerous smoke breaks during the day, hardly ever cleaned up their food/cups from our yard let alone the screws and nails in our backyard where our son plays. Then we started having issues with the work being done, stairs were unlevel, the wood of our underdeck storage was placed right on soil with no retaining wall like we asked multiple times to be. They had been working on our deck since first week of May, it's still not done and the deck FAILED an inspection that we had done by the county, because Tony never had it done when it was supposed to be. He gave us stories of not being able to pay his guys just to get more out of us then for 2 weeks they didn't even show up to work, then suddenly his phone was off when we tried contacting him. Tony never managed his men, performed poorly for an owner of a company and didn't do that well of a job on his own work. DO NOT USE THIS GUY TONY NOREM whether he goes by this company or "rebrands" to another company (he previously had Norem Renovations he claims its for easier searching)

After posting my review on the Cincy BBB I received a very snarky reply from the company so I…read morewanted to post our response to their response here. Since there is a disagreement regarding the facts of the visit between your contractor and us, I decided to review our Ring Camera recordings from Jan 29. These recordings, from multiple cameras, capture the complete video and audio of the encounter. The snow and the cold weather were discussed between the contractor and us. In fact, your contractor is heard on the recording saying that he wasn't sure if today was a good day due to the weather and he said he even called the office to confirm if they thought he could do the work today. The entire conversation between both men was extremely friendly and at no time was there any disrespect or rudeness on either person's part. After the contractor reviewed the area and the requirements, and we said today was not the right time to do the repair because of the weather and our concerns for his safety, he got into his truck and called the office to let them know. After about a 5 minute phone call, he got out of his truck and said he was going to head out and someone from the office would give us a call, we thanked him, he said great, thanks so much, have a great day. Now I would like to correct the misstatements you made in your response. 1. "At no point this winter has anywhere in our service area seen 20 inches of snow." We most certainly received at least 20 inches of snow as seen in the videos, you can use AI or Google to find the dates of the major snow storm and temperatures this year. There were multiple dates of snow from Jan 23 thru Jan 27, 2026. Your contractor arrived on Jan 29. The high temperature on that day was between 20-30 degrees and early morning temperatures were below 10 degrees. 2. "You rescheduled this appointment several times, and then cancelled with no warning and only after our craftsmen had taken the time to arrive at your property." We never cancelled any appointments, you sent a contractor out in Nov 2025 and he didn't have any tools or equipment, he said he needed to go get those things and would return, he never returned and we never received a phone call from you. We explained to your contractor on Jan 29 that we did not want him to do the work that day due to the obvious hazards. 3. "Of course our professionals are trained to do many jobs even with the snow, we are still confused as to why you believed that a handrail would affect a water line." The work to be done was to dig the ground to install a post in the middle of the existing two posts and attach a support to a new railing. There is a water line somewhere between the pond skimmer pump and the existing 2 posts and it would be very difficult and expensive to repair if the water line was broken or damaged. 4. "Either way your decisions resulted in a broken contract, no payment, wasted time, a craftsmen without work for the day, and you did not reschedule with us at that time." Your poor decision to send a contractor on this date resulted in their wasted time, etc. We were happy to have you reschedule on a more appropriate day and get the work done, in fact your contractor on Jan 29 said the office would call to reschedule. The previous contractor in Nov 2025 actually wasted our time. 5. "Calling us a few months later out of the blue demanding that our craftsmen return to complete the work on the contract you broke does not rectify any of the concerns raised by your prior actions. To sew even more seeds of doubt, it appeared on our end that, after we informed your husband that we would not be returning to the property, you tried to call our office staff and trick them in to believing the job was associated with someone else." No one informed my husband that you would not be returning to the property, as clearly heard on the Ring Camera recordings your contractor said the office would be calling to reschedule. If someone had said they would not return to our property we would not have called you back. We have been respectful and patient with you for 6 months. We were tolerating your unprofessionalism and giving you the opportunity to do the work since you had come out and provided a quote for the work. Also I would not say I called you out of the blue and I most certainly did not demand anything. I called, introduced myself and explained that my husband was very busy and couldn't take the time to call you. The weather had been good for a little while and we were ready to have this work completed. 6. "We simply can not do business with someone who can not be trusted to fulfill their contractual obligations or respect our employees. We wish you luck with your project." It is audacious that you would make these statements about our character, when it is you who have a character problem. Again we have Ring Camera recordings that say it all.
