I have bought motorcycles, parts and accessories over the years from Clinton Harley Davidson, Weiblers , McGrath Harley Davidson in Dubuque and Workman's in Rock Falls. I tried to give each a chance when it came to new motorcycles. My last purchase did not come from Clinton Harley Davidson. Maybe my next one will. But there is an employee that works there that is always rude and always has to point out that I must be lost or I'm in the wrong part of Iowa And acts like I'm not welcome in the store because I did not purchase my last bike from them. I'm trying to figure out how does he think that this will win me back. I'm debating on ever giving Clinton Harley Davidson a chance on my next purchase due to this abusive nature of this employee. I know there is a fine line between joking and being serious but this keeps happening every time I come into the store. Last five times I've been in there I had to hear some kind of criticism about not buying from them and that I must be in the wrong store even though I was there to purchase something. Sometimes I think twice about going in there and I end up traveling to other Harley Davidson dealers so I don't have to deal with this attitude. I'm not mentioning names cause I do not want anyone getting fired over this but I think he does need some form of customer training. I'm not the only one that has experienced this treatment, But that's their story. " Flash forward to June 2019. Stopped in once again after some changes occurred and after the sale of Weiblers in Davenport some of the employees have come to Clinton. Unfortunately I felt no change when I stopped in once again and I had an appointment set up for my bike. I was going to have some service work done. I stopped in to purchase something small which was just some lightbulbs and still ran into the same situation. I ended up not making any purchases and I cancelled my appointment. It was going to be a two week wait anyway for my service work so I contacted Workman Harley Davidson in rockfalls. My bike will be finished by Monday! Thank you Workman Harley !
