This place is crooks. We called to get a quote to recharge our mini split ac unit. We live out of town and were told $89 plus $2 per mile. We agreed to that. They charged us $260 just to look at it and told us that it was low on refrigerant. We already told them that. They did not charge the unit but then said to fill it was over $2500!!!! Called them to service a whole house humidifier. First question asked was did we install it? I had no idea as it was in the house when purchased. I was told if they didn't put it in, they refused to service it. Their loss and were rather snotty about it too. read more

Climate Control is very concerned with achieving an extremely superior level of customer satisfaction which probably justifies their high prices. Cam and Jed stayed on top of our project with modifications to insure that we were happy with how the new system performed. Guy, the installer, is very intelligent , was respectful of our property and honored our expectations. This gave us lots of confidence in the outcome of our project to replace an old boiler and hot water system. A suggestion for the future would be to have all the materials on hand before starting a project whereas this current project took almost a month to complete because of delays in receiving needed parts. read more

Our water heater started leaking overnight, on the weekend of course, and even though I was entitled to a free warranty replacement from Sears (heater only), when I finally got an answer from their warranty department I was told it would be 33 days to get a replacement! That is a long time to go without a shower. I did my research and decided Bradford White and Rheem to be the two best brands I wanted to choose between. Checking online I found that CLIMATE CONTROL was actually a dealer for both brands, and although I knew them to do excellent work for me on my Central Air Conditioner, I didn't even know they did water heaters. I was just going to buy a water heater and install it with my son, but Climate Control's price installed seemed like a very good deal. But most importantly, I called at 9 am, and even though the heater I needed was not in stock locally, they found one 200 miles away and had it brought here the same day, and by 7 pm that evening I had a new water heater with some important upgrades of an expansion tank and a drain pan, both of which you should not be without. Total elapsed time, 10 hours! Cam the owner even came out to check out the installation and make sure everything would work, and their technician, Guy, was super! Very personable, did a nice clean installation, no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend Climate Control if you need service. read more
