I was told that the pavillion is host to many musical events and the Saturday artisans/farmer's market. Included in the areas are musical instruments, slides, rope bridge, climbing wall, merry-go-round and more. There is a building with very nice restrooms. From the great lawn to the rolling paths that wind past streams and through groves of trees, and the areas for launching kayaks, this is a park that offers something for everyone. Weekends mean a busier park as people want to enjoy the outdoors in their leisure time, but it never feels overly crowded, even on those days. I'm excited to see the Parklands and Beckley Creek continue to grow throughout the years!
