We have used them twice already. The response to quote is so quick. The date of the job is honest…read more We were not in any type of emergency mode this time When we did have a large branch ready to fall on neighbors property they were very responsive The work that they do is awesome. Very polite, friendly, professional. Super clean up after. Would highly recommend

I contacted Arbortech for an estimate to remove a dead tree in my backyard. I was asked to send…read morephotos, which I did, and was told that Justin would stop by to assess the tree. It took approximately two weeks to receive the estimate. After receiving the quote, I called to ask whether there was any flexibility in the price. I was told Justin was on vacation and that I would need to wait until he returned. When I called back after he was expected to return, I was told they still needed additional time before they could answer my question. Eventually, I was informed that the quoted price was firm and that I would need to sign a contract if I wanted to proceed. I agreed to the quoted price, signed the contract immediately upon receiving it, and was ready to move forward. Although the price was higher than I had paid for previous tree removals, I was a repeat customer and decided to proceed. The next step was scheduling the work. After what I believe was about a week, I called to schedule the removal. At that point, I was told by the answering service that I had "lost my date" because I had not returned phone calls. This was confusing because I had already signed the contract and was actively trying to schedule the work. I asked for another date and explained that I still wanted the tree removed. Throughout the process, communication was handled through an answering service, which appeared unable to negotiate pricing or schedule work directly. Messages had to be relayed to someone else before decisions could be made, making the process difficult to follow. I explained that I may have missed one or two calls, but I only had one Arbortech phone number and generally do not answer unidentified numbers. I told the representative that I was calling now and simply wanted to schedule the work. A few minutes later, I received a call from a man who identified himself as Justin, the owner. After I answered with a simple "hello," he immediately began shouting at me and told me, "Lose my number. Don't ever call my business again." The tone of the call was extremely hostile and aggressive. I ended the call without responding. As a result, the tree was never removed, despite my having accepted the estimate and signed the contract. To this day, I do not understand why missed phone calls resulted in the loss of my scheduled date or why the situation escalated to the point where I was told never to contact the business again. Based on my experience, the biggest issues were communication, scheduling, and the unprofessional manner in which the final conversation was handled.
