This place! I was traveling from MN to CO when my van broke down... To start this review off from…read morethe beginning....the tow truck driver was super awesome and friendly! He called everywhere for the next city up to keep me headed in the right direction. When no one else would take my van that day, he brought me to his repair shop. He was communicative and easy to chat up on the drive there as well. After being there a while I could tell they had plenty on their plate that day. And let's just say my van wasn't exactly a walk in the park... but they still managed to help me and with incredible customer service I might add. Not only that but the repairs didn't break the bank! I had my pup with me and everyone was really welcoming and even gave my dog some food while we waited. :) I hands down recommend this place not only for their work but for being a trust worthy, honest and caring business. This was our second time at Kearney Towing and Repair. The first time our Class A was towed in…read morewhile we were traveling on I80. Our experience was fine - they couldn't locate a hydraulic pump and we ended up having one sent from FleetPride. This was just before Memorial Day and we had to stay in Kearney a few days because the part didn't come in until after they closed for the holiday. Once they did put the pump in, we were back on the road. The pump leaked as soon as we headed out, but we were able to get to Michigan and now came back to Kearney to get it fixed. When they had put the pump in, they only changed the seal (O-ring) on one side and we were assured they would change the one on the other side. Imagine our surprise when they charged over $600 to fix the problem that should have been fixed on our original visit! Sad that a good experience turned totally sour. Gone are the days of integrity - had we known they were not going to warranty their work, we would have done it ourselves.

We were traveling cross-country through Nebraska in July and ended up needing a tow…read more Never what you want to add to your vacation, but I have to say the experience we had by calling Dowhy Towing absolutely kept our misfortune from ruining the day! The reception was pleasant and precise. It was getting dark. They got there quick. The truck was clean, inside and out. The diver was more than helpful. He went out of his way to take us to a gas station for a few items. Then, because he knew that we were planning on doing the repair ourselves, he drove us past the various auto parts stores in town. He pointed out a few good places to eat, then took us to our hotel for the evening. He even rolled our vehicle off the truck into a spot that he knew would be shaded in the morning so we didn't roast while doing the repair. Over and above the call of duty. Thanks Toby ! A local tire repair and purchasing business that has been operating for long time. I didn't know…read moreabout, but was recommended by Eagle Eye Tires at Kearney that no longer attends to trailer and car tires. They also have a mobile unit which will come to your own location if needed. So we have a trailer tire puncture getting taken care of here and sure do appreciate what they do and available.
