The entrance is in the back and takes you into what was a kitchen, but now is the waiting room. Each room in the house is its own space for the masseuse to operate with a client. I travel lots, have had massages all over the world, (including a memorable one given by a very burly Hungarian woman in spa in Budapest, who sort of slapped me around while I was wearing a sheet on a cold, metal table in a room full of other local women) and I find myself always comparing the quality of these massages to Westlake Massotherapy's. A nasty habit--Westlake wins every time. This place is clean as a whistle and has several nice touches, like hot packs for your neck, warm booties for your feet and heavy-duty massage tables that go up and down mechanically enabling the therapist to get the best angle for attacking your sore muscles. Doctors prescriptions are accepted. Your appointments will be booked the old fashioned way--written by hand in the big book, but that's okay. You know you aren't paying for some fancy schmancy computer system. Don't be surprised if you have to wait two weeks to get in. Call them sooner than later--before your pain has you walking around like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Oh yeah, the outside of the clinic sort of looks like Grammy's house, so it's easy to miss when driving by. Enjoy and relax!

In terms of Stacy's service, she really helps on several fronts. I have relatively bad arthritis in my neck and shoulders, and I always leave feeling much better with the knots loosened and an overall sense of well-being. Often by the end of each session I'm starting to doze as I'm completely comfortable and at peace. Stacy is very polite, always makes me feel welcome and comfortable, and really knows her trade well! As long as Stacy is here, I plan on being a customer. New Life Massage as a business in general is great as well. I've been to several studios over the years; while most studios are nice in their own way, New Life is especially a nice studio. It's clean, smells nice, is not cramped, and I can tell it is a popular place as I always see other patrons waiting for various services. The location is spacious and very comfortable. They have an amazing assortment of essential oils to choose from. Karen, the massage therapist, is experienced, friendly, and knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain every step to you and make sure you're comfortable. During the massage itself, she really worked to find all my tight spots and focus on them. The aromatherapy was very nice. I told her beforehand that I have sinus problems and she picked out an oil for me that would help to make sure I wasn't congested. At no point during the massage did it feel like she was rushing through an area, which is something I've occasionally experienced elsewhere. She took the full 45 minutes...not 2 or 3 minutes shorter which is also something I've experienced elsewhere, more often than not. My husband did the aromatherapy massage with Allison, and he said it was the best massage he's ever had. A couple weeks after our visit, they started offering CBD massages - so yeah, I'll be back.

She twisted my neck in some bizarre way, and I'm not prone to neck pain and I've received many deep tissue massages and I understand soreness after a massage, but this was not a deep tissue massage, so there should be no reason for any muscle soreness. This is more like a severely pulled muscle. I've been taking ibuprofen and I am still in a lot of discomfort. Overall I would never come here again especially after paying $172 (they automatically add in 20%). If I am paying this much I expect the full duration of the time I scheduled and paid for, and also a masseuse that uses care and consideration and doesn't rush the massage. So disappointed! also, the receptionist wasn't very friendly but I won't even hold that against them because I do understand some people aren't very social, but it made me feel not welcomed. Ugh.
