They do provide many services to help ppl. I recommend, going in for help , in stead of phone and email . ask for some one in charge , or branch manager . They offer curbside service, also they have a chat available on the main site lower right corner . The offer a wide selection of books. They have a a sm. area to the left when you walk in , called a donation area , pick what you want , put money in the box , what ever you can give. Ya , my favorite is the donation book sales , im a book junkie lol . Try it , you might be surprised how nice it is .

The two women working there when my family and I visited the last time were funny and intelligent. We enjoyed talking with them and hearing about the history of the library. The building itself is one of the original buildings in Milford, and I enjoyed venturing on to Water Street, aptly named, since it's right next to the Little Miami River in Old Milford. You won't be disappointed if you stop by here- especially if you are a mystery writer! TIPS- The staff was quick to point out to me that even though the overdue fines are 10 cents per day, it's only 30 cents per week since they are only open three days! Oh yeah- they are only open three days a week, so check the hours before making a special trip!

This is the reason I made my way to the Madeira branch of the library. First off, this place is gorgeous. It's in the middle of a great small town. And, did I mention the place was fantastic? They have a great selection. Auto-check out machines so you don't have to wait in line. And, the people that work there are helpful and awesome. Just be careful when you're walking through the automatic doors...they open slowly and I ran into one of them the first time I tried to leave the place...it's a trap! Be careful!

The service was really nice. There are a lot of older books and not as many newer books. I did think that the sections were well organized and alphabetized so it made it easier to search through. The staff at the library was comprised of some of the unhappiest people on earth. Nobody was willing to help me; the most I got were directions leading to the non-fiction section. The library itself was rather large and probably stocked with a lot of great reads; just, next time, it would be nice if someone could tell me where to find them. The Blue Ash Branch Library, known as the Sycamore Branch until 2001, is another nice library in…read morethe area. It's an old building, dating back to 1964, although they completed a renovation and expansion in 1987. It does not appear to be all that big, but when you go in you realize it is very spread out and has a lot offer. The very spacious library has a large room for children, a Teen Source section which is larger and offers more seating (including comfortable bean bag chairs) than Madeira's Teen Scene, and there are plenty of desks and chairs and computers scattered throughout, making it a great place to work or simply read. One draw back about the Blue Ash branch compared to the one in Symmes is they don't have a drive-through book drop off. And unlike a Blockbuster where you just pull up front and quickly jump out of your car to drop something through the video slot, at the Blue Ash library you have to park, walk across the small lot, and then go up a bunch of stairs or inclined plane to drop off your books or CDs or DVDs. Really, it's not that big of a deal, but it really isn't all that convenient either. The one other thing that bothers me about the Blue Ash Branch Library is that you have to get a key from the front desk to access the restrooms. Talk about inconvenient. Other than that though, the staff is friendly and nice, the building is a bit old, yet still nice, and they offer a computerized self-checkout and some great outdoor places to sit and read, making it another very good library in town.

This space is small but filled with reading possibilities! I found many titles currently on my TBR and picked only one this visit. The have many genres from board books for babies to adult fiction and more. Kind and helpful staff got me checked out quickly. It's a great stop if you're a reader wanting to support local business.
