I know O'Hare Airport like the back of my hand, including the mythical, hard to find, caged dog pickup area. BUT I couldn't find the particular entrance we needed! Signage is confusing or nonexistent, parking lot lanes are one way only, and the whole place is snarled by cars and lost pedestrians trying to find their way. Fortunately, they have security/maintenance guys riding all over the place in golf carts. I think their job is to direct all the lost patients wandering around the various parking lots! We asked one for directions, and he cheerfully told us to follow him to the correct entrance. From the main parking lot I counted: 1 right turn, 2 left turns, 2 right turns, then slalom around an S curve, go up a ramp, and you arrive at the West Entrance! Would have NEVER found it on our own. 4 Stars for the cheerful guys in the golf carts!

When entering the hospital, you can feel the sense that all staff are fully knowledgeable of the COVID guidelines and abide by them. This makes the patient feel comfortable with the cleanliness surrounded by them. All staff that I have interacted with during my surgeries have been professional, attentive, skilled. Since I have already posted about the first surgery I will comment on my most recent surgery. The staff beginning with the greeters to admitting all wonderful. Fe and Lisa got me on my way in preop to the anesthesiologist who was comforting due to his laid back personality. The PACU gang were also awesome Ginny C, GG, Marcella. Thank you so much for putting up with me. Erin and Jason getting me on my way to walking. Jessica was welcoming. I must give a huge thank you to Patricia and Carolos on the night shift. Extremely Disappointed With Billing Negligence and Lack of Accountability…read more I visited Bayside Urgent Care and clearly informed the receptionist--three times--before receiving any services that I needed to make sure my insurance would cover everything. I was assured and proceeded based on that understanding. The doctor recommended a lab test "just in case," and I followed his medical advice. At no point did anyone warn me that the lab they would send my sample to was out-of-network. A few weeks later, I received a huge bill from an outside lab that does NOT accept my insurance. I called Bayside Urgent Care immediately to understand why my labs were sent to an unauthorized office when I had explicitly stated multiple times to verify insurance coverage. The receptionist was dismissive, unhelpful, and simply told me: "You received the bill, so it's your responsibility. Talk to the lab." No concern, no accountability, no explanation. To make things worse, when my insurance agent contacted Bayside Urgent Care today, the office suddenly changed their story, claiming they had sent my labs to a different facility that does accept my insurance. Meanwhile, I continue to receive large bills from the out-of-network lab, and Bayside Urgent Care refuses to assist or correct the issue. This has been stressful, misleading, and completely avoidable had the staff simply honored my repeated requests to verify insurance coverage. Their inconsistent statements and lack of responsibility are unacceptable. I do not recommend this urgent care to anyone who values transparency, proper billing practices, or respectful customer service.

This one is open, large, clean, and all CDC guidelines are being followed for a safe, well visit. Chairs are 6 feet apart, and only one was empty. So Husband and I shared that one until another waiting room opened up with 5 empty chairs. It was a very nice area, like the lobby: clean, with a TV, and chairs spaced out for social distancing. There was no free Wi-fi, but we had good cellular service with Verizon. Our appointment was at 1:30. At 2:15, Marilena brought us into her office. She gave us our immunization records. Then she gave us our shots. She was skillful, friendly, and fast. Going in, it did not hurt. Afterwards it hurt! Then we were done. I would gladly give 5 stars if we had not waited 45 minutes to be seen.

Through a combination of mental health and physical health monitoring, I am a different person today on his way to a longer, healthier and happier life that was not even imaginable a year ago. The genuinely caring manner in which everyone at the clinic approaches the patients adds another level of healing to the process that they might not even realize. The clinic is headed by a particularly professional, sapient and informative individual that has shown me an unprecedented level of sincere concern that I have not experienced for decades. Staff is composed of nurses, medical assistants, and nurse practitioners as well as volunteer physicians from a multitude of various specialties including: cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, rheumatology, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, allergy and immunology, ophthalmology, ENT, pediatrics, behavioral health counseling, psychiatry, physical therapy, and chiropractic medicine. Referrals to hematology, nephrology, and dermatology are available through community partnerships with BayCare medical group. They have their own pharmacy and provide medications to patients at no cost but do ask for donations, any specialty medications (insulins, respiratory inhalers, or other extremely expensive medications) can be obtained through patient assistance programs. They truly are an all-encompassing practice, their knowledge and compassion is evident in the care they provide. I recommend this clinic implicitly.
