I used Clear Image for my new custom shower glass enclosure and am delighted with the result. They were the quickest to come by and measure the enclosure and had quoted a lower price than their competitors. Terri and Brian in sales are wonderful and provided an efficient quote and clear answers to my questions. The installation team of Brian K and Jeff B are wonderful with Brian K being extremely diligent in his work as well as patient and polite. One of the glass panels was slightly chipped (noticeable only very slightly) from the manufacturers during shipping and Terri arranged for a replacement right away. Brian and Jeff came in a second time and reinstalled it with a smile. I realized when they came for the shower enclosure measurements that Clear Image was also the company my condo's landscape company had used when they had broken my storm door with a pebble that was flung by the trimmer while cutting the grass. A few months ago, the thermopane glass in our patio door shattered. We shopped around the various glass repair shops, and we chose Clear Image Glass. They were informative, efficient, and reasonably priced. They promised the finished insert in four weeks, and they kept their word. When it came to inserting the thermopane, in our 35-years old door, the job ended up being more difficult than expected. However, the installers persevered, and the job was done perfectly. I used Clear Image Glass in Centereach to replace mirrors on a bathroom vanity. Approximately 3 years later the mirrors have black around the edges and look horrible I went into the store on 2/21/20 and was told that there was nothing they could or would do to help not even a discount on replacing them. Yesterday we called inquiring about replacing the sweeps the young lady was helpful and stated we bring them in, if the had the material and technician the could do them while we waited. I called Clear Image and requested a quote because I broke my patio table. The representative was kind and asked me to email her the pictures and measurements. I sent over the information requested and she sent me a quote. I called her again for a follow up and she was kind and answered all my questions. I then brought my table to the store to get the exact measurements. Everyone at the store was extremely helpful and kind. They took the measurements and offered suggestions. The table ended up being less than what was quoted. They gave me a timeline of two weeks and it was completed in less time. Had a broken window. Needed an insulated glass replaced. I removed the sash and brought it to their store. I was told it was a 2 week turn around. 3 1/2 weeks was how long it took. Ok. Not a problem. But when I called to check on it, they had no idea where it was. Woman checking on order was extremely rude and was to call me back. Never happened. I called again. " oh it will be in on Friday, call you when ready. Never happened. I called again. " window is ready owner called you last week to say it was ready. Never happened. Come on, we all have cell phones and are able to check missed calls and messages. Again very rude. Finally went to pick up window, woman at counter says, " yes, not can I help you. I hand her receipt, she gets my window, rings up my purchase without another word spoken and I leave. I can only guess by the amount of work vans they have that they are more interested in their commercial work than they are in serving local homeowners. Recently one of my shower door in my bathroom shattered. I had them come in and order a replacement door. When it came in , the hardware I had was rusted and would not unscrew. This is not something we accounted for. He told me he would go to the hardware store and pick up a new hardware for the door and he would be coming back. He got the hardware and installed it on my door but now it wouldn't glide on my track!! Took the door back with the original hardware and said he was going to give it his best shot and see what he can come up with. Came again to my home, this time with the original hardware on it and finally installed it. Poor guy came to my house three times, until he was satisfied of the fit and quality!! I was very impressed by the professionalism in which they try to make it work, without incurring extra cost. Most of the shop told me I needed to replace my whole unit. I have used them in the past and have always been very happy with their service, price and quality!! read more
