Finally deciding to tackle this project, I solicited some bids and was pleased with the numbers that WayBetter came back with. The neighboring house is in a valley and a wall was needed to help delineate the properties, plus getting all of the growth away from my house would ensure I didn't have bug issues! Their communication was easily better than most other contractors I have dealt with, and that's a strength they should continue as it will set them apart from other bidders. When weather delayed the project, Salena would send me an email to let me know when the next tentative start date was, which I really appreciated. Take a look at the pictures I included, they did a great job on the project!

With our belongings from out of state not yet delivered, we needed some quick help. A brief online request for service from Tidy Trim was quickly returned with a call from the owner, who promptly went by the house to survey the site, called back with an exceptionally fair quote, and graciously worked us into her schedule the following morning. The next day, she showed up fifteen minutes early and got everything taken care of lickety-split! The owner is incredibly kind, personable, and professional; a great welcome committee to Milwaukee! It was so nice to come home from work to a neatly-trimmed lawn, with all edges knocked down around planting beds, fence lines completely cleared, sidewalks free of debris, and no trace of residual mulch. While we do have our own lawn care equipment and enjoy the work ourselves, we will definitely keep Tidy Trim in our reserves for emergencies and more advanced care needs. Thanks so much for your help, Tidy Trim!

Enter in Dennis and Son Tree Service. They called me back promptly- I explained the work that I needed done (defensive action against the trees on one roof- and offensive action toward future Mother Nature outbursts by clearing some trees away from the house at another location) Matt (would this be the son of Dennis and son?) told me he'd have an estimate to me later that same day and true to his word it arrived via fax. The price was right- the timing to have the work done- the next day, and he asked for no deposit or anything even though this was all handled over the phone. Told me just to send him a chieck when the work was complete. Love that! My trees were trimmed, offending branches removed and all the debris hauled away. And even better news is that the roof was not damaged by the tree! You can't always anticipate what Mother Nature is going to dole out. But if she is taking aim at the trees in your yard- give Dennis and Son Tree Service a call.
