However, in Nu-Way's defense, the large dryers absolutely completed your load of laundry faster. Basic pricing for washes ($2, maybe $2.50 for longer wash cycles). Reasonable. Cleanliness is so-so, yet that all depends if someone is on site for longer durations (I didn't see anyone between 4:30-6:30 PM on the Sunday prior to Memorial Day). What makes this location somewhat bad is pretty much the clientele. While there are many people that are legit about getting their wash done and leaving without causing any confrontation, there are the ghetto folks that want to be loud and ignorant. I witnessed an older female attempt to stick both of her feet within the large dryers for no reason, then curse patrons when they thought she was over the line with her disturbances. Then, her best friend (another old and loud, unruly woman) accuses patrons of stealing her laundry bag (turned out to be large, white trash bags) and become confrontational with patrons when it became obvious that she forgot that it was on the other side of the laundromat. SMH. If you can ignore the older crack heads and loud gangster rap music that the cars play outside when waiting for your wash to be done, this laundromat is a pretty decent place to get your clothes cleaned. I just hope that the business has staffing available to keep patrons from being verbally abused and intimidated...when washing clothes.

However, I was charged $37.65 for the coat cleaning!!! and I was charged 14.61 for the trousers, and I was charged 12.39 for the vest. The price of trouser cleaning is much higher than it was just a year ago, but most egregious was the cost of the coat. Almost thirty-eight dollars!!! Absurd. Furthermore, there is nothing posted in the store advising customers of the prices, and the young lady (whom is the owner's daughter) certainly won't tell you the price until it's time to pay. They can't clean leather jackets at this location so they had to send it somewhere else. Right off the bat they told me it was going to take a couple of weeks to get done, plus a week to deliver my jacket to the cleaner. I wasn't thrilled about that, but did appreciate them telling me up front. It seems like they don't clean leather jackets often because the employee said she doesn't do it often and had to ask two different people how to ring up my jacket. They asked me if they should call me when the jacket is done. I said yes, but a week after when it was supposed to be done, I called to see if it was ready for pick up. I've never had any problems here before but cleaning this jacket was a little more of a hassle than I expected. SIDE NOTE - The front counter is hollowed out in the front and there's a section filled Dum Dums. I always have to take one....or three.
