An Angel Works at Eshelman Mill Gardens & Landscapes…read more I was on my way to a medical appointment. I was driving and about to cross over the 897 road. I stopped to cross over 897, and there was an Eshelman Mill Gardens & Landscapes truck in front of me. The truck driver jumped out of this truck and picked up a tractor-trailer tire piece that was across that road. When returning to the truck, he then saw a tiny King Charles Cavalier puppy on the road. There is a breeder that lives along this road, and I guess the puppy got out of the pen. This "Earthly Angel" bent over and picked up this puppy. If he hadn't picked up this puppy, I can only imagine what might have happened. The driver returned to this truck then crossed 897. He stopped at the farm right next to the intersection. He got out and gave the puppy to the farmer. It is SO AWESOME to see people (workers) that truly care about people and puppies (smile). I mean this. If that driver hadn't done that, the puppy would have, without a doubt, gotten hurt and possibly killed. It is so beautiful with all the things going on in the world to see people that still care! This driver LIVES the "Do unto others as you would have done unto you!" A BIG BIG SHOUT OUT for this man--I think of that song descrbes this man -- "Angels Among Us."
