He gave me a price then added an extra $35 because the grass was high. Which was fine as I believed he would take care of business, do a good, even cut in the front and back and edge, etc... That wasn't the case. The front yard was incredibly patchy. Not a professional job whatsoever. Also a lot of weeds were left uncut as well as if his equipment wasn't cutting efficiently. He left debris laying around and it should have been removed. All of this and I paid $120. It was a half-ass job. I texted later after giving a thorough look to express my concerns about the work. He promptly replied, if I didn't like his work to find another company. Again, unprofessional. If a client isn't satisfied, you address the issue. Simple. Unfortunately, with so many random people trying to have a business these days, you can't expect them all to navigate with integrity. Best to stick with those you've been referred to by others. And seeing these reviews here speaking about his lack of professionalism, frankly I'm not surprised.

Nothing but good things to say. We had a big drainage issue that needed resolving, so we invited 4…read morelandscapers to come take a look. Here's why we picked Grasshopper Landscape Services 1. These guys are the ONLY ones who actually took time to see how/why the drainage issue was happening and built a solution for our specific needs. 2. The price is reasonable, the work is spot on, and they are letting us finish our yard in phases, so we can manage the cost. 3. The day they started the two workers assigned our yard came to the door, introduced themselves, and were working hard all day and being very pleasant when we crossed paths. 4. When we changed our mind about a cosmetic feature, they cheerfully switched it out, even though it wasn't their fault. We're the 3rd couple in our set of friends that have used them. Some of the budgets were very large, ours was not, but we are all thrilled with our yards. Great job, Dean and Scott. (and team!) ps (careful, there is a Grasshopper lawn service company as well, that is not affiliated with these guys, so make sure you are contacting the landscaping service.)

The experience started well, but ended up a disaster. When I…read moreinitially contacted Grasshoppers, I made it clear I wanted my front yard landscaped and then to set up regular yard maintenance. I heard from Scott, who handles the landscape design. Over the course of a month, we met a couple times and he provided plans and estimates. I kept asking about setting up regular yard care, but never got a straight answer. After the front yard was finished (and it did look good), I was told I would hear from Dean, who handles that part of the business. Two weeks go by and I hear nothing. I left Dean a voice mail, no reply. I finally emailed Scott and was told they are only taking regular maintenance clients who require services over $400 a month. Now I am scrambling to find a different company. This my first house with a yard, so I don't really know what to do and was counting on professional care. So, between the leaves that I have no one to remove and the watering that I haven't figured out, the sod is mostly dead and the other plantings aren't looking so good.
