I have a carefully decorated home with vintage furniture, unique details, rare pieces, and a master bedroom that is done very minimalist white. I'm a fastidious neat freak and very mindful about who I let touch my stuff, and how things are cleaned. I moved to the area recently and after having a few weeks of house guests over the holidays, wanted a solid cleaning of the floors, dusting and wiping of surfaces and scrubbing of sinks and toilets. I booked a 10am move out cleaning and took a day off of work for it. I called a few minutes after the 10am showtime and left a message. Chris called me back and said there was a double booking for the lady that was supposed to come and clean. He took it upon himself to clean my place since he messed up. When I first booked my appointment, I told him that they need to bring ALL the cleaning supplies which is something I guess he forgot about. I gave him specific instructions to clean the fridge, windows ect. When I came back 3 hours later, the windows on the outside went cleaned and come to find out later, he didn't even clean the inside of the windows like he said he did!!! The fridge has something stuck to it on the inside shelf. He said he tried "everything" to get it off and couldn't. I asked for a rag and some cleaning spray. A few minutes later I showed him that it could come off if you used some elbow grease. I then asked him to clean the dishwasher which had some stuck on detergent. After he left I checked it and it wasn't completely clean. Again, another halfassed job. I also found dust on the ceiling fans and the floor had a couple of rocks he didn't clean up...... when I asked him exactly what is included in a "move out" cleaning he told me its whatever you tell them to clean. If this is a semi professional cleaning service, I would have expected a list of things that need to be cleaned for a move out inspection. Obvious things like mopping, cleaning both sides of the windows and the dust on the ceiling fan blades. Poor poor attempt at cleaning. I highly recommend especially if you are needing a move out cleaning, to look elsewhere. read more
