I would give them a Zero, if that were an option. To anyone that is looking to use Clay Funeral Home, Inc. these are only a few examples of the bad service I experienced: 1) I left the funeral director multiple voicemails with her answering service and she NEVER called back. 2) She asked me to not call her before 12:00. The time I had to call at 11:45, she said in a rude tone "I'm trying to get dressed, I will call you back when I get to work 3) I asked her what time her company would arrive to the funeral, she replied in a rude tone "I will get there in enough time". I had to tell her that I needed to tell the pallbearers what time to arrive, and then she gave me a time (again, in a rude tone). 4) I was out of town when I called her to finalize the items I wanted. I asked her to email me an itemized copy of what I was getting with each cost, and she refused. I was forced to have an elderly relative view the document for accuracy at her office, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Run, run, run from this company. read more
