I purchased a dress at CP in London some time ago. The dress was pretty but the straps were too large.However the sales assistant informed me that they used an excellent alteration service so I went ahead with the purchase and alterations.When I went back to try the dress on, the fit was awful. I pointed this out to the shop manager but she recommended that I take the dress home and take a second look. I did so but of course that didn't change anything. I took the dress back and asked for a store credit which she refused to give me. I then turned to their online customer service and after months of going back and forth and also writing to the Onbudsman services, they said that they would do nothing about the dress. So, now I am stuck with a dress that I will more than likely have to re-alter and end up paying for. The shop basically took my money and then refused to fix a problem that they had caused. They were unhelpful and uncooperative. It was an awful experience and I would recommend that you avoid their shops. read more
