Be Careful with this sidi dentist!
Would you really go to a dentist called SIDI? In my opinion, all he knows how to do is pull teeth and do x-rays, and he insulted me about how I dressed. That morning I took a shower and put on my best clothes. It didn't seem right for him to humiliate me by becoming a fashion judge. Cerrtainly, I didn't go there to judge how he was dressed. My feelings were really hurt...and it alarmed me that he focused on my appearance.
He was mean to me. He actually screamed at me to sit up straight and scared me almost out of the chair, but my back is crooked so I was doing my best. I would think since he is a doctor he if anyone would be understanding of my scoliosis condition. So far I haven't talked to anyone who fixed her crooked back by sitting up straight or having someone scream about it.
He shocked me by making a statement that my shoes would be good for killing roaches in corners...and checked me out like I was there for a photo shoot.
He put me down that my profession is a Hair Dresser, and I tried to make extra money as a waitress where I get tips... and he said it is not fair that dentists dont get tips. Say what?
Then, when I paid for the tooth that he pulled (that didn't need to be pulled!), I didn't have exact change, so he ended up getting $5 extra out of me. Why couldn't he just be fair with me? Every dollar counts for me and probably for you. But the part I will never forget is that as I was leaving -- dizzy with pain --, he gave me a stack of his business cards (at least 30!) and said, "Send me all your good-looking girl friends." And my thought to this insensitive comment was, "Do I really have to do that for him to fix my cavity?"
The parodox seems to be that he he just doesn't feel comfortable around attractive women, but wants them to come see him...and then he acts silly or SIDI -- Get it!
Whatever, the fact is I eventually ran for my life, and I can finally tell my story the way it was thanks to this site.
I came in there to have a cavity fixed, and he told me I needed a different tooth pulled that had nothing wrong with it. Like a fool I trusted him and let him pull the tooth. Then, I went back to have the cavity fixed, and he refused to take an x-ray and said in a very angry, authoritative tone there was nothing wrong with it, and unbelieveably, he suggested pulling another tooth -- and again not the one with the cavity. This time I had no choice but to just RUN, because it was apparent he wanted to do much more work than I really needed -- all the while not fixing the real problem.
Almost every post here says he is funny. Who wants a funny guy for a dentist? I simply want someone serious, professional and respectful...and prefer comedy clubs for my laughs. I prefer a dentist who does what needs to be done and allows me to get on with my life.
If you have also had bad dental work done by this dentist, email me at kittythrone@comcast.net, and lets compare notes.
There's a chance there is a pattern here that scares me every time I remember this dental nightmare, and maybe if you're an attractive woman, he has scared you, too? All I can say is this person needs to grow up and stop using silly jokes and embarrasing attacks as a defense for his his insecurities --not to mention that his dental plan seems to be to keep you coming back for more. This plan only seems to work for him! Be careful if you value your teeth, your money and your dignity.
