I bought two beautiful leather couches from Claude Browns. Anyway, that's what they sold them as, was leather. Two years later and the color is rubbed off the arms on the main couch we use. And there is a big spot missing color in the middle of the other couch. I called to talk to someone and, no, can't help you, out of warranty. Then they suggested I use a color matching team to put color back in it. Umm, excuse me, real leather should not lose its color. I had a navy blue one for 15 years that never looked worn. So I'm guessing this is not real leather, and if not, I would have liked my money back. Instead i got crickets. I will not buy another piece of furniture from them. On the other hand, I absolutely love their carpet cleaning and plan to have them here before Christmas this year. We shall see. read more

I am reviewing Claude Brown's Restoration department. These amazing men and women did a fabulous job of cleaning my 120 year old cinderblock basement in February 2025. In my 50 years here the basement had never been cleaned and they took it on and did the most wonderful job. I heard a few screams as they ran into mice but they continued their job and finished perfectly. I had a recent basement flood (May 2025) and again I called them and they came right out. As I expected they did a great job of cleaning up the mess. I recommend this awesome company for any restoration projects you have. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. We set the carpet cleaning up months in advance as we both work. Shortly after the cleaners arrived, their equipment failed. The carpet cleaning manager was notified and was told parts were on the way to fix the issue (they have 3 trucks). Its been a week and we have received no word. I guess we are left to figure out the best course of action to clean the rest of our carpet. This is not professionalism, and no way to do business. read more

I had purchased a recliner from Claude Browns years ago. It is leather where you touch and could be restuffed when it got flat. The wooden frame underneath broke so we took it back to Claude Browns to get new frame and to re-stuff. Frame has been discontinued so the guys repaired the frame to better than it was new and re-stuffed chair. They didn't charge for the work on the frame. This is why it is important to deal locally. You will not get that kind of service online. These guys are awesome! Thank you Claude Brown. read more

We experienced a slow leak in the wall of our closet for 20 days or so...and Claude Browns' team showed up to repair the damage to our bedroom carpet, wall and under the house were water had soaked through to the insulation in the crawl space. We can't say enough to express our gratitude for their attention to our concerns, their skill and experience in tackling the problem, and specifically their polite, gracious, and empathetic manner. Each person who responded was professional and a pleasure to deal with. We worked with several members of the restoration and carpet cleaning crews over the period of 10 days and they were all very good at their jobs and made us feel confident that our issue has been completely resolved back to "new." We will use their services in the future for all of our carpet and furniture cleaning needs! read more

To say that I'm pleased with Claude Brown's Cleaning & Restoration would be an understatement. From the moment I called after the water damage in our home, to the final piece of carpet being placed was amazing. They were compassionate, efficient and did everything they could to make this process a little easier on us. Even being out of town they took care of everything, I never had to worry. Kevin was helpful in all the restoration process, Mike was great helping us find the perfect carpet/pad, Christy made sure we were scheduled in plenty of time before Thanksgiving and Jose was so professional and did a GREAT job installing the new carpet. We purchased commercial carpet for our office from Claude Browns. Their installer left large gaps between the seams. We notified them immediately and have continue notifying them of the problem. We have lots of glue on the carpet with several patches and it still continues to unravel. This is the worst installation job I have seen. I am very disappointed Claude Browns does not want to resolve the problem. I would not recommend getting carpet from them. read more

I am very disappointed with the staff at Claude Browns. They had no issues working with me when it came time to purchase carpet and take my money, but now that there are problems I can't get anyone to help. I purchased carpet from Claude Browns and within one year of us walking on the carpet it is completely crushed. I have been calling for almost a year to get answers and try to get it replaced but just get the runaround. When I was finally able to get a hold of the sales person he told me to get the carpet cleaned (and of course he said to use Claude Browns carpet cleaning service) to see if that would bring the carpet back up. I had them come out and clean it in November and when they were done the carpet was soaked. It was supposed to take 2 days to dry but it was so wet it took over week. I called and let them know cleaning did not help. The person I needed to talk to was going on a trip and would be gone for a week, but would get a hold of me when he got back in to town. I still have not heard back from that person and that was over a month ago. I will not recommend Claude Browns to anyone and I will be going elsewhere for new carpet. read more
