I went to Color Me Hair Studio for my first time after calling twice to make sure I understood what…read morethe charges/services would be. I told the owner that I would like only my roots colored to match with the rest of my hair and that I had a lot of hair. The price they charge for color, cut and blowout would be $125.00, which is exactly what I was looking for. After arriving with adequate cash in order to avoid a $5.00 credit card fee, I decided to add tinting brows and fully expected to pay the extra fee of $10.00. It was a very nice salon with a very pleasant atmosphere, as well as my stylist that did a great job. When I went to the check out counter, my total was $170.00 total including the $5.00 charge for use of my credit card. Since I was expecting to pay $125.00 plus 20% instead of $165.00 plus tip, I was now short of cash and had to use a card. When I complained to management that the amount was not what I was quoted over the phone he said I had too much hair and required 2x as much color, even though I mentioned I had a lot of hair to him after the price he quoted over the phone. I suggested that he instruct his stylists to inform customers if there would be an up-charge for services. I also had my brows tinted and they had mis-charged me for a a different svc. They corrected the mistake and said it would go back on my bank card. Three day later they still haven't credited me for their mistake. Both owners (husband/wife) tag teamed me with wife calling me irrational. With that insult, I told them I was offended by their name calling, goodby and hung up. Be aware and ask for the price of service as you are at the desk before services are rendered.
