I ordered a takeaway (25/7/11) at 7.38pm monday evening, and was told it would take 30/ 45 mins. nearly an hour later i phoned to ask when it might arrive, i was told they were just starting to cook it.
45 minutes later the meal arrived, i asked for a discount because of the delay and was offerred £2 off the £30 bill, of course i was mighty hungry by now so paid.
On opening i found all the food to be cold, the cardboard boxes the food came in had fallen apart and the chilli, lime and shallots from my fillet of beef salad completely missing ( all it consisted of was fillet of beef ?, limp wet cucumber, old slimmy green peppers and about 6 bean sprouts), the rest of the food was grey, mushy, unfresh and flavourless.
I phoned to complain, and was told that the chef was new but the old chef worse. not that i cared, the food and service was dispicable.
i was offered a £14 credit note as compensation, i asked for the manager/owner to phone me and left my number, 3 days and 2 phone calls later (i was assured they would call) still no response.
i'm sure this establishment dosen't merit any rating stars, and if they don't contact me, trading standads will be contacting them. read more
