We looked online for an Elvis for my Uncle's 50th birthday party as he's a *huge* Elvis fan and we found Classic Singing Telegram. For some background, my uncle has been very sick with many physical and mental ailments for a long time but he's like a second father to me. I knew this would make his day if it was good. We had a huge party at his nursing home and I surprised him with Elvis. Again, since we just searched online we weren't sure exactly what we were getting even though everything pointed to it being really good - you never know! But wow were we blown away, Elvis (Patrick) was terrific and went above and beyond. I talked with him a bit after the performance (and it was just that!) and he told me how it warmed his heart to see my Uncle Joe happy and how amazing the family was playing along (he involved my mother and my 92 year old aunt!). You could tell he really enjoyed the experience as much as we did. If anyone is having any doubts - don't. It was worth 5x the price for the performance we received. Chris was terrific with booking and planning. I can't say enough good things about Classic Singing Telegram! My best friend recently became engaged and I contacted the company to see if I could arrange a telegram to be sent the following day. I was immediately called by Chris, the owner, who couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. While I had a chance to celebrate my grandpa's 90th birthday with him in person a few days before his actual birthday, my husband and I wanted to do something for him on the official date. But we live in Texas and he lives in Pennsylvania. He loves to sing and I thought a singing telegram would be really fun for them at their retirement home, attracting some fun attention. Their site isn't the classiest, but they were great to work with and the gift was really well received. I love that this company exists and they do a good job. Chris was really fun, nice, and provided great follow-up on email and phone. He helped me choose a "character" - a cute cigarette girl - and a tune for the song - Chattanooga Choo Choo.
