Then the day after she messaged to ask what could be done and they replied with a terrible message about the complaint only coming when the bill came in. Very unfair, as the complaint could only ever have occurred post the completion of the job. This isn't a small pile of turf and mud it's a large mound. It's caused her additional anguish and could easily have been put right. I wouldn't use the firm given the mess that was left, a reputable company would agree on disposing and have things listed in the invoice.

They were streets ahead of the competitors. Once they arrived I was informed immediately and was told they were to be installed the very next day (now how's that for service). The team turned up, looking professional in great vans and smartly dressed uniforms. This set me at ease as I could just tell they knew what they were doing. the team did a fantastic job, all rubbish removed and the end product, JUST WOW. if you are wanting shutters or any blinds at all, you have to get Beautiful Blinds to do them.

The brick work on the extension was brilliant, the electrician (outside contractor) they hired…read moreleft a lot to be desired. The brickie (who I have been told has since left them) did the best plastering and tile fitting I have ever seen. The budget went from £80,00.00 to over £126,00.00 And we still have been charged for things that should have been included in the estimate or that we paid for. Estimates appeared on bits of papers and hard copies of the bills have still to materialise 3 years later! Due to planning regulations not all the work has been completed and though we should be able to go ahead now, and it has been already paid for, I doubt that the work will ever be finished without extra payments. The workmen arrived on time, brought their own tea/coffee and food, so the 1000 tea bags I bought in were not used! They cleaned up after themselves and were reasonably circumspect in their language. Now that the brickie has left them I do not know if I would recommend to anyone else. The owner of the company does not do any physical work on the job, so therefore his salary has to be costed in with the price of the job.
