Hole 16 from behind the green

Tee time 6/27 10:30 Pace: 4 hours Amazing time at classic club! Considering it is their off season, the course was in great shape. The greens were pure (kinda slow though)? Tee boxes were level, and the bunkers had good sand. Fairways were slightly wet, so drives didn't roll out as much. For $99 you get the cart, range balls, and a $25 food voucher to use at the halfway house or the restaurant afterwards. One of my favorite courses in Palm Desert, I will return again!

Aaaaahhhhhhhh Where do I even start!? My recent round at The Classic Club in Palm Desert was nothing short of spectacular. This is the look that PGA West is going for, but fails to deliver a five star experience. This Arnold Palmer-designed gem delivers the perfect blend of challenge and beauty, with pristine fairways, flawless greens, and breathtaking desert scenery. Every hole felt unique and unforgettable. The staff's hospitality was outstanding--from the warm welcome at the bag drop (huge thanks to Bryan!) to the exceptional service in the pro shop (shoutout to Jeremy!) and on the course. Even the GM took the time to stop by and personally welcome us, adding a special touch to the experience. The restaurant was top-tier, offering delicious food, impeccable service, and a relaxed ambiance with stunning course views. The practice facilities were spacious and well-maintained, and the locker rooms added to the overall sense of luxury. For any golfer visiting Palm Springs, The Classic Club is an absolute must-play--a truly unforgettable day from start to finish!

So happy I chose classic club for one of my rounds of golf on vacation in Palm Springs. The pricing was amazing! Round of golf had a high-quality course, a U.S. Open qualifier course, a towel and $25 credit for lunch was an excellent deal! Round of golf was 4 1/2 hours... Could have been faster, but it is a challenging course. Will absolutely come back next year!

Caveat: I only play here in the AVID fundraiser golf tournament. If you don't like golf with water hazards, don't play here. Water comes into play in a majority of the holes. If you don't like wind, don't play here if wind is in the forecast. It will blow your shots into the water. If you want a challenge, enjoy doglegs, and like lush green fairways, the Classic Club is a good choice. Rounds cost about $150. The practice areas are great. A spacious driving range, adequate chipping green, and a rolling, undulating putting green will prepare you for your round.

First time playing Classic Club which came recommended from others both before and during my trip. I am thankful for these recommendations because Classic Club was my favorite Palm Springs course. I played. The Golfweek, Golf Digest, Golf Magazine ratings for this course will certainly be returning to the top 10 in California now that they've installed their outstanding new bunkers. Service - 10 Driving Range - 10 Layout - 10 Conditions - 10 Fun Factor - 10 Challenge - 9 Overall - 10 This course is so solid from start to end. I cannot recall a boring or throwaway hole, with #1 being the weakest and the holes only getting better from there. The layout is just fantastic with a perfect balance of fun/challenge/visual appeal. I played this course last and it really made me appreciate just how balanced the layout is and how superb the conditions were. It was the only course I played that truly felt like a destination course with no houses, condos, facilities or other eyesores to distract from the beautiful views. I can recommend Classic Club without reservations to anyone.

We had to replace the grip on one of the putter which we were going to do at another big chain…read morestore. It just didn't seem legit the way they were explaining the whole process of things. Very odd in a sense which didn't feel right. Then we found this place driving by. It's a massive store. Plenty of parking out front. Front the outside it just looks like your usual store but once inside, it's like a mega golf store. Theres literally everything and anything you needed. Right at the front was where the replacement section was. The gentleman's working were very sweet in explaining everything and helping us out with picking what we need. One was doing all the replacements while the other one was helping us out. From there, it just takes a couple minutes. It was fine which gave us time to walk around and check the store out. We literally only did half of the store as it was massive. There's sections along the sides where you can practice your swings electronically. A putting green right in the middle to practice. Besides all the clubs and accessories, half of the store had a big apparel department with loads to choose from. There was so many clubs to choose from as well as whatever you may or may not need. If you're a golfer, this is like Willy Wonka factory but golf. Worth checking out.

After spending thousands of dollars at PGA Superstore over the years and consistently having…read morepositive experiences, I was shocked by the way I was treated during my visit today. I was testing out a putter on the practice green and simply moving golf balls out of the holes and toward the side of the putting surface when an employee abruptly approached me in a rude and demeaning manner, accusing me of "kicking his balls," which was completely untrue. The way he spoke to me was unnecessary, insulting, condescending, and unprofessional from the very beginning. When I asked for his name, he replied "Jim, the assistant manager" with a cocky attitude before walking away. About 10 minutes later, after apparently getting off his shift and changing clothes, Jim approached me again and sarcastically asked if I needed help with the putter. Considering the disrespectful way he had already spoken to me, I found it strange and antagonistic that he came back over at all. I told him I didn't understand why he was even speaking to me after treating me the way he did. The entire interaction left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable, especially coming from someone in a management position. I will be contacting corporate because customers should never be treated in such a hostile and condescending manner.
