When I cancelled, I spoke with Mark Vassallo, who told me I would be charged for February and could use the gym through the end of the month or roughly early March. I accepted that and considered the matter resolved. For context, the last time I actually used the gym was January 19, and when I cancelled I had no intention of using the facility again. However, after cancelling I was still charged multiple times: * $148.04 on February 3 for membership dues * Another fee on February 17 * Another $148.04 membership charge on March 3 That March 3 charge should never have happened, and I am currently disputing it. Even more troubling, when I went back to the gym to address this issue I was given a "cancellation document" that I had never seen before. On February 1 I did not sign any documents and was not given any paperwork. The document I received later contains a signature that is supposed to be mine, but it is clearly not my signature. It appears that my signature was forged on the document, and the other signature on that form belongs to Mark Vassallo, the same employee I dealt with. When I asked Mark for his business card so I could document the interaction, he refused to provide it. Because of this situation I have now filed formal complaints with: * Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (Consumer Protection) * Florida Attorney General's Office * Federal Trade Commission I have also disputed the March 3 charge with my credit card company. While researching this issue, I noticed that many other reviews mention similar billing and cancellation problems, which suggests this may be a pattern. Beyond the billing issues, the overall environment at the gym was also disappointing. Many members and trainers frequently stand around talking while blocking machines and even exits, and I've seen kids running around the weights area, which is unsafe when people are lifting. Between the billing practices, the forged cancellation document, and the poor gym etiquette, this has been one of the worst experiences I've had with a fitness club. I strongly recommend that management address these issues immediately.

Spoiler, no phone number cancels the membership). When I did try to go to the gym I had to keep my stuff with me as all the lockers would have items in them but no locks (gym has left signs but do not enforce this) but would get in trouble if my bag was on the floor so gym time was usually cut short due to this. I had to contact my credit card to stop more payments to get ahold of someone from them. You'll get a call from ABC Fitness (that is their business name, Just Move fitness is a gym based in California and from the sound of it I am not the only person who reached out to them for assistance with my account). If you get a call from +1 (833) 311-0847, 8886397089, or 1800-8976877 none connect to a person. Also you can connect via app, but you'll need your account info which only way to get it is when you talk to someone (see how the run around goes?) do NOT waste your time with this gym unless you love to run so much you're ok getting the run around from them.

Great little gym here…read more Tucked away in a shopping center so you have to know where it is to find it but once you do, it's awesome. Nice layout with the crossfitter section in the back, away from the general population. Everything was functioning, pads had been replaced on almost every machine. Weights distributed evenly so didn't have to hunt down anything. One thing I hadn't seen at a LA was a pilates studio! They had a rather large one in the back which was very cool. Their little smoothie bar place is also very good. The guy who worked there was polite, made good smoothies and they had shockingly good prices. Next time im in the area I'll workout here no problem. Avoid This Location Due to Toxic Management…read more The facility itself is fine, but the Prime Club Manager, Juan Castro, makes working out here a miserable experience. He spends the last hour of every night aggressively yelling across the gym floor to kick people out, completely ignoring the fact that the automated intercom already gives closing notices. Staff is seen telling gym members at the door that the gym is closed at 10:50 pm when it closes at 11 pm. On top of cutting hours short, Juan is incredibly rude, passive-aggressive, and confrontational with members, often interrupting people mid-workout to make sarcastic remarks about re-racking weights. Multiple other members are frustrated by his entitled attitude. A formal complaint has been escalated to Fitness International corporate headquarters with a request to review the security cameras. Avoid this location until corporate addresses the management issues.
