So it's hard to understand what you're paying the premium for here. The personal training situation made things even worse. My trainer Jose left Genesis. When he originally went over the contract with me, he never explained that the PT agreement would continue and simply be moved to another trainer. Once Jose left, I had no interest in continuing with someone else and I had communicated that on text on May 27th. I still ended up being charged month after month until I finally noticed it and contacted Genesis in September. Genesis eventually cancelled the PT agreement going forward, but refused to refund the previous charges. I also had unused PT credits and asked if I could use them for pickleball training with Marc, who I've actually been training with for more than a year. It seemed like a pretty simple solution: I have credits with Genesis, I want to use them with a Genesis trainer I already know and have trained with. Wayne answer was that they can't transfer credits between departments. So apparently the money can be collected by Genesis, the credits can sit in my Genesis account, and I can use them with another Genesis trainer... but moving those credits to another Genesis department is somehow impossible. Wayne then offered to have me use the remaining PT sessions with another trainer, including someone who specializes in pickleball, but they still wouldn't transfer the credits to pickleball. After 8+ years as a member, this is pretty disappointing. At these prices, there are plenty of better options in Orlando.

When I did try to go to the gym I had to keep my stuff with me as all the lockers would have items in them but no locks (gym has left signs but do not enforce this) but would get in trouble if my bag was on the floor so gym time was usually cut short due to this. I had to contact my credit card to stop more payments to get ahold of someone from them. You'll get a call from ABC Fitness (that is their business name, Just Move fitness is a gym based in California and from the sound of it I am not the only person who reached out to them for assistance with my account). If you get a call from +1 (833) 311-0847, 8886397089, or 1800-8976877 none connect to a person. Also you can connect via app, but you'll need your account info which only way to get it is when you talk to someone (see how the run around goes?) do NOT waste your time with this gym unless you love to run so much you're ok getting the run around from them.

He spends the last hour of every night aggressively yelling across the gym floor to kick people out, completely ignoring the fact that the automated intercom already gives closing notices. Staff is seen telling gym members at the door that the gym is closed at 10:50 pm when it closes at 11 pm. On top of cutting hours short, Juan is incredibly rude, passive-aggressive, and confrontational with members, often interrupting people mid-workout to make sarcastic remarks about re-racking weights. Multiple other members are frustrated by his entitled attitude. A formal complaint has been escalated to Fitness International corporate headquarters with a request to review the security cameras. Avoid this location until corporate addresses the management issues.
