I spent four years here (2007-2011), and the education has served me well. I know many people who have made it through, and I know many who haven't. The Old Green and Gold isn't just a liberal arts college; it's a tech school that takes its techiness very seriously.
Many of my friends have made it to graduate schools across the country. Many of the people on my floor from freshman year didn't. Those that didn't are either happy in industry making some serious cash, or they just didn't make the cut. They have lots of neat programs here that really look good on your resume. The SPEED teams are awesome experience.
If you're ever curious what hell frozen over would look like, it's probably not too different from Potsdam. The winters up there are rough, but that's more or less a fact of life.
Hockey is the tradition up there. Let's Go Tech! And if you can make it through Clarkson's School of Engineering, you stand a shot at working for some pretty awesome companies, many of whom come to Clarkson's Career Fair searching for new employees. Clarkson's a good place to grow and advance. It ain't Hawaii, but it'll get you there.
