Clarks is a very very good (good defined as: sturdy and very comfortable) brand of shoes. SO I was shocked to have the cap of my heel post pop off. Considering I still have a pair of Clark shoes from 2 years ago, of a different color, that I still adore and use the heck out of that are sturdier then any other brand of shoe I own, this was unusual for this brand of shoe. I bought my, now gimped, pair of black heels in St. Louis, where I am from. I wasn't sure what to expect but when I went in here I had to mention my surprise that the back, bottom heel cap fell off. They took it back without a blink. No receipt, knowing I bought it from St. Louis, MO, and off my feet into their hands. They hand me a brand new pair of the same and I walk out happy and a devoted customer. What a great brand and what great customer service.

Fancier than the king of France!

I stopped in with my wife on a Sunday, and despite the store being absolutely packed, the level of service was nothing short of exceptional. Her salesperson was the definition of a professional: knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely engaging without ever feeling rushed. What really set the experience apart was the attention to detail; he actually recognized the specific pair of shoes I was wearing and lamented that the particular color had been discontinued by the brand. That kind of deep product knowledge is something you simply won't find at a big-box chain or an online warehouse. Beyond the expertise, their in-stock selection is impressive. Being able to walk in, get expert advice, and walk out with exactly what you need is a reminder of how retail should work. If you value a staff that actually knows their inventory and treats customers like human beings, this is the place to go.

I came on a Sunday at 11. There's about 25 customers in the store, but one employee. I know retail is tight, but this is downright dangerous for this employee. Because of this, she was constantly checking out people and could not help anybody, including us trying to reach the top self. We waited 15 minutes to get help from her. We also found out after getting the total that only 1 of the 6 we got were on sale. The rest were full price. I wanted to leave there, but my mom really liked her shoes. The lady barely knew how to work the register. What really soured me was the manager. He started out nice, but I could clearly see this was an act because he turned extremely rude to his employees and an older customer who he talked down to. He screwed up and forgot to give her a discount and then acted like he was "doing her a favor". Combine that with no bags and barely any sized 13 shoes, I'll pay more for shoes down the street at Dick's I used to be in retail. I know it's a thankless job and customers tend to be pretty bad, but this guy should not be in management. If he is the face of Sketchers, it doesn't reflect well on the store. It seems like this store and company have given up.

I love thrifting and buying second hand and was so excited to see a new option close to me. I slipped my plans for Thrifty Thrift in with some other errands on a Sunday. They are open 12-5 on Sundays and it was between 12pm and 1pm that I stopped by. They had a sign out on the sidewalk that said they had parking, but I'm not sure what parking is actually for them. I parked in a lot that was just East of the store (the direction I was traveling). It had snowed in the few days prior to my visit and Thrifty Thrift did not have any of the sidewalk in front of it's store shoveled or salted. I'm not sure if it's not required or they think customers won't appreciate it or maybe I just happened to be by on a day that they didn't have enough staff to get it done, I'm not sure. Inside this store feels very much like a cross between a flea market stand and a small second hand store. It's relatively tight inside with all available space used. Every surface has more items available. There are clothes racks in the back, they are too tight for 2 people to look at the same row at once. This is a place that somehow felt like it had so much and nothing all at once. If you're a thrifter, this is definitely a spot you need to dig through and if you find what you're looking for it was exactly perfect and if you didn't find what you were looking for, then you found nothing. IYKYK. There was one man working at the front, and I was greeted. He was not overbearing and did not speak to me again, and I did not have any questions to ask. I didn't purchase anything on this stop so can't speak to overall price of items. I'm not sure this will be a stop for me regularly, but if you're looking for a particular thrifted good, this could definitely be an option. I do always appreciate a non-corporate option for second hand buying. Thank you, Thrifty Thrift!

I think they're a fairly new establishment which opened over a year ago. I've gone twice in the past month. The prices are crazy excellent where you can find quality clothes if you dig deep enough. Clothes are available for all sexes and age ranges. They don't just sell clothes either. There's a good variety of things for sale like basic housewares, accessories, music, movies and comic books. I even saw a few items like tool sets, a set of golf clubs and a vintage Nintendo Cube set for sale. On both occasions, I spent an hour here and never left empty-handed. Look out for their 50% color tag sales that are generally offered daily. That's where you'll find the biggest savings. The only downside is that they don't have a dedicated changing room but they offer their single occupancy bathroom as their changing room. Disclaimer, the bathroom/changing room did not smell pleasant. It had a strong sewage stench. Hopefully their bathroom sitch gets fixed with time. At least they offer poo spray in the bathroom. If you have a sensitive nose, you may want to avoid. Another disclaimer - All items are final sale. They give no returns and no store credit is offered. They accept cash and card payments. There is free parking in the public lot to the right of the store. Currently open Tuesday - Sunday but check Yelp or call for their store hours. Happy shopping!

Don't trust this company! Scam likely!…read more I placed an order for the Nike AlphaFly Laser Orange shoes on Jan. 30th, after clicking on an ad for the exact same shoe on Commonwealth's Instagram ad. 2 weeks later (Feb. 13) I notice there is still no shipping information. I contact them and they said "it was an error because we accidentally shipped the shoes to someone else but we have them now and we are shipping them out today." Shortly after I got an email saying my order was on its way. Delivery date said today ( Feb. 18). So today I arrive home and don't see a package. So I click the UPS link and it says "printing label created." So I call commonwealth and they say that the item has been shipped. I inform them that the ups tracker says they haven't received a package. That only a label had been printed. Commonwealth then did some "research" and found that they don't even have the shoe that they were selling. I was informed by a manager that "Nike used the same color label for a shoe that they don't have." However, the shoe in the ad, and the shoe that I ordered off of their website said the correct information. They informed me that they don't have the shoe and won't be able to fulfill the order. They offered me a store credit for a $300 pair of running shoes I purchased from them that they don't even sell. Don't trust this company. Order from a more reputable company who takes pride in honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Very disappointed with the experience.
