I damaged my brown leather shoes on the day I bought them. I was distraught. I rang the shop and was advised to return them to see what they could do. I received them back today. WOW! I seriously cannot tell where the damage was. Fantastic service and craftsmanship to be proud of. Church shoes are the best. It is a pleasure and a privilege to wear and own them. Thank you.

The…read morestaff are very thorough and will take as long as they need to make sure that a pair of shoes fit well. They won't sell you anything that they're not 100% sure about. The range of shoes is very good - mostly Startrite and Clarks - and although they are quite pricey, I feel that they are worth every penny. It's a huge relief to know that my children are wearing well fitted shoes, and they get plenty of compliments in them too! I haven't bought any adult shoes here yet, but I have browsed them, and they stock a fantastic range.

The quality of the shoes on offer is pretty questionable and for the price, it's just not worth it. Usually when you arrive, there are at least two members of staff outside the FRONT door having a cigarette - not the best image! There is a wide range of shoes, and in general terms you will almost always find your size displayed. They also have the clearance bargains at the rear of the store, which are conveniently displayed by size, so you can look at your size and see if you like any of the shoes - but they generally aren't massively reduced, unless the shoes are really horrible!! New parking regulations at the Peel Centre mean that you might get clamped if you shop for too long, as the private parking company think that you've nipped into town! Again, there are plenty of other shoe shops in town that have better bargains than this one.

So we went into Robin Elt shoes as my Fiancé said that Ecco boots were good and they had a sign for them here. Were were so glad we went in, the shop isn't big but has quality foot ware. On entering a shop assistant in a suit ( yes a suit ) came across and basically helped us try on some walking boots. He was straight out of the good old days. Incredibly well mannered, knowledgeable and really nice to us. Needless to say as the boots were great we immediately brought them. Its been a long time since I have had such a nice experience in a shop and will probably go back there next time, even though its in a another country! If only all customer service was like this.

While visiting Worcester on business I took a look in Robin Elt Shoes with no intention whatsoever…read moreof doing anything other than looking around the shop. It is a traditional shoe shop of the kind that sadly, has largely disappeared from the High Street. It had a broad range of quality shoes, including classic brogues and welted leather sole construction(highest quality) footwear. Noticeable were the helpful friendly staff. The quality of the products on display in Robin Elt were in such great contrast to the shoddily-made plastic items I see in many other' shoe shops' that 'I purchased a pair of 'Barkers' Northamptonshire-made gent's shoes. and at a fraction of the price that I would have had to pay at most other 'quality' outlets that sell Barkers/Loakes/ TecNic'/ Grenson footwear. They even had shoes in 'half' sizes - a rare thing today. In terms of the 'ease of purchase' (friendly knowledgeable shop staff who were not 'pushy' or overbearing) , the 'ambience' (the shop is traditional, no gimmicks), and excellence of the product sold: I give 'Robin Elt a 'five star' rating. They are as 'good as it gets' Thank you to the staff at the Worcester shop.
