We hired this firm to ship furniture and personal possession,, including several antiques, from Paris to California this summer. It was highly recommended by the estimator that we pay an additional 95E to crate an antique mirrored dressing table to assure its safe delivery, which we did. When the goods arrived, not only was there a significant crack in the crated dressing table, but major damage to other antique pieces and many broken items. The company refused to reimburse us for the (useless) crate for the dressing table, and none of the claims for damaged or broken items were paid by the insurance company. The (very good) local movers who unpacked our goods commented on how poorly Clark & Rose had packed our possessions. It is recommended that this moving company be avoided if you want your goods to arrive in one piece. read more
