My unit was a 1 bedroom first floor unit which had a very good layout. The location was very convenient to my work at Covenant hospital. Now the maintenance people in my apartment did a good job in responding to my problem but this is about the actual corporate office not the maintenance guys in my apartment complex. I talked to the lady in corporate and told her what went on and if they would be willing to compensate me in this situation I asked for some money off my rent for the month when I said anything is good and she said be specific I said ok maybe half?? I mean u can die from a carbon monoxide leak this lady said no that isn't happening that I could of still slept in my apartment after all this went down I was offered a space heater!! I told this lady I pay $605 rent every month to have working heat I don't pay to sleep with space heaters my furnace should of been working properly. I said would u be able to sleep somewhere right after u just had a carbon monoxide leak?? She told me yes she would lol smh I been a loyal tenant here about 5yrs now not behind on rent and this is how they treat people over a inconvenience due to their equipment giving off carbon monoxide I am furious over this!! A lady from corporate called me and tried comparing one complex's smoke alarm going off in the laundry room I said don't compare a sample alarm going off in a laundry to a carbon monoxide leak happening they are not the same!!!! Then she said well it was smoking inside and people had to evacuate they could of got smoke in their lungs smh now it was smoking huh smh this is crazy how corporate act so careless when things happen and not willing to compensate tenants because of their faulty equipment. Wether it was a small leak or not it was still big enough for my alarm to go off and it was 15ppm anything over 9ppm the fire department has to report so it was also large enough that they had to report!! They own BayPointe apartments do not go to them I'm not sure what else they own! This is not the first problem I had with Charger properties either!

I've moved quite a bit since the upheaval caused by the pandemic; different states, different…read moreapartments in those states, and nothing really worked out. Like for many others, perhaps, things since the pandemic have been pretty unsettled and chaotic. On top of that, there seems to be an inherent disorder, or chaos, to my life, despite my best attempts to right the ship and keep it on an even keel. Things just have not gone very well, though I have managed to at least keep a roof over my head and, more importantly, over my beloved pets' heads. I chose Saginaw over other places both in Michigan and in other cities/states, and discovered Green Acres Apartments as part of that search. I took a gamble, and rented a unit sight unseen at this apartment complex. My past few times with this experience have been, well, not great, though, again, at least I managed to have a place to live, amazingly enough. I was really worried about this apartment, based on past and present experiences in renting. I was also very, very tired and burned out, and feared that this place would be another storm I would have to weather in my journey to find a place, and a city, I could settle into for a while (and even just to catch my breath). I needn't have worried. Green Acres is the best place I have ever leased in all my 30+ years of renting. I came prepped with an arsenal of cleaning supplies (I used to clean professionally, and have high standards), but the place was so clean, I only used a handful of supplies. Everything really was "freshly painted" and I loved everything about the apartments down to the the cat-friendly large windows and the charming retro feel of the cabinet hardware and the wonderful quirky bathroom. I sat in my living room that first night after my stuff was moved in, had a cup of tea, looked out the tall window that overlooked the lovely courtyard--and felt so calm and at peace. The staff at Green Acres, from the very beginning, have gone above and beyond to help me settle in in several ways--none the least with the welcome box of delectable pastries that were a much-appreciated treat that first day as I tried to restore enough order among the moving boxes to have a place to sleep (and a pathway through the apartment!). I would highly recommend Green Acres as a "safe harbor" place to call home.

They're staffing seems nice at first when they're trying to get you moved in and take your money…read morebut after they get you moved in they're rude and honestly the apartments are over priced, I wouldn't suggest living here either if you work a late shift job or are just trying to relax on a day off cause they allow the lawn mowing company and bush trimming company to come in at times of 8am to 9am and be loud af for hours. Also if you have any issues with other tenants good luck getting them to look in to things and do anything about it cause they won't. People throw trash out of their cars all the time across the apartment complex. It's also way over priced. So I would just highly recommend not coming here
