I was so shocked when they told me it would be £15 for one ear - I am used to paying £5 for both ears!! Anyway - seems we were there I couldn't help but have a quick nose around. Claire's has changed quite a lot since I was younger as they now stock quite a lot suitable for older 'children' - things like belly bars and quite nice styles of earrings. I also had a quick look at their wedding style bits - they seemed quite cheap in price, so maybe worth a look if your trying to do bridesmaids on a budget! I couldn't help but buy a bracelet and as I was paying I noticed they hadn't changed their old ways of trying to make me buy cheap nasty things at the till! It is aimed more at children and teenagers as it has a very fresh and young feel to it. It is quite a small store but it is somewhere worth visiting if you are looking for some accessories as they do stock a good range. They also do ear piecing too. I have had the staff coming up to me sometimes though and asking if they can help as soon as I have stepped into the store which I do find a bit off putting as it is somewhere that I like to browse and am not often looking for anything specific, just something that catches my eye. There is free parking in the Swansgate Centre, and the store is situated just inside the centre so is close to the main shopping streets in Wellingborough.

I normally find that Clare's is never over crowded and in the shop the staff are very kind and helpful. In the shop they sell many things such as jewellery, bags and clutches. They also sell a few sweets at the counter, and in there you can normally find wash in wash out hair dyes and a few face packs. But what I really love about Clare's is that most branches have an ear piercer, I always find the ear piercer to be very kind towards who ever her customer may be.
