After installed two for my bedroom and I noticed that they were not bright enough for my living room. I decided to return the other two as the shop promised they accept refund. When I took the lamps to the shop, the salesman denied refund and only agreed for a credit note which means that I am bound to buy other things in their shop sooner or later in order to spend $200 buck. The salesman even said that the credit policy instead of cash refund has been printed on the invoice, which I found later from the website of the Office of Fair Trading that it is against the law. I was cheated by this IC Lighting shop. I would tell everyone that this shop is cheating, not reliable. If your money is a surplus give them to charity don't come to this shop. Actually if you go elsewhere you will find this shop selling everything more expensive. What a shame!

A Frustrating, Overpriced, and Uncomfortable Experience I've…read morehad a deeply frustrating experience trying to get three split-system ACs serviced. Despite being clear about my requirements during booking, the process was a total mess from start to finish. Day 1: I moved heavy furniture to provide clear access. The technician provided quotes but claimed he "didn't have time" to do the work. I was charged nearly $300 just for the quotes. Day 2: Moved all the furniture again. The second technician arrived but wasn't qualified to perform the quoted work. While he was honest about his limitations and tried to fix the scheduling error with the office, I was now two days down and hundreds of dollars out of pocket for no results. Day 3: For the third attempt, I scaled back and requested only one AC be serviced. The technician arrived and immediately made me feel awkward by pointing out my previous 1-star review. He remarked, "Let's see what we can do about a 5-star review," yet proceeded to do only the bare minimum--nothing to actually address the prior service failures. The Breaking Point: After the third visit, I was invoiced for all three ACs despite only one being serviced. I had to call the office to dispute the charges for work that was never performed. The Verdict: By the time I received the "correct" invoice, the total cost (including the initial Day 1 charge) amounted to the price of a decent quality new air conditioner--all just for a basic service and clean. Between the scheduling incompetence, the awkward confrontation regarding my review, and the billing "errors," I cannot recommend this service.

In 2015 we had problems with our motorhome Sat TV dish not locking on to the satellite. After four…read moreor five service calls from Perth to Melbourne we finally had two coax cables replaced, and the LNB replaced. Then in September this year we had just fuelled near Richmond NSW, turned on the ignition key and the dish started going up! And it wouldn't come down. We parked at the back of the petrol station, and tried cycling the controller, reset etc but eventually resorted to removing bolts off the dish bracket to manually lower it and tie it down with bungee cords. By this time we had decided to replace the Alden Sat dish and controller with an Oyster (no change to VAST set-top box, ours is an Altec UEC Dual Channel unit). I rang the distributor to find out which installer was nearest to us, and then contacted Sydney RV in Penrith. They wanted $7,250 incl installation! When I told them that I knew the RRP to be $4,625, they said that the difference was for installation and that they would need the motorhome for two days - needless to say we declined. I then contacted Springers in Lawnton QLD who usually have installers at the CMCA Rallies - so we had it installed a couple of weeks later at the Canberra Rally for $4,950 (took about 4 hours) - works beautifully.
