While in the worst heat July 2025....To begin, I have a whole home warranty that has been fabulous for so many years, until Sears sold it. My husband was in a horrible auto accident & lucky to be alive. Right after it happened when I came home from the hospital, our central air stopped working. I was devastated and I have dogs that are not good in heat. It took a month to finally get through to someone to help. That company wanted to charge us $3500.00 and of all times for this to happen. In the meantime, John with Airvantage called and luckily he was contacted by the warranty company and he said he could come out ASAP to check it. I told him what the other company quoted. I was rushing to get home. This man stayed outside of his truck in midday sun and made sure that it worked and completed more tests to let me know if there were any other issues. He was completely honest and could have lied about it. He was so kind about everything. He said It was the capacitor, but to keep an eye on it and other things that can help keep it running in the high heat. I had been driving to work and back and forth to the hospital multiple times a day and night for a week then he was moved even farther for rehabilitation from his left side being crushed in the accident. We were confined to one room at home and then my dryer broke lol. ‍ So, we had no air in Louisiana at the end of July and my having to go to work daily without a dryer or air for a month and it seemed so much longer. My son brought two small window units and I was able to confine myself and dogs to our bedroom. I had some relief in that we could sleep normally. I didn't have any time to deal with anything with running non-stop. Even with the room kept cool and so grateful for the air. Our dogs were comfortable and we could sleep, but life was far from the norm. John doesn't know what his kindness really did for us. My husband came home a couple of weeks later to air conditioning and all thanks to John. Do not hesitate to choose him, hands down!! He also checked on me a few weeks later to see how the air was running and I didn't see the text, until recently...so here I am!!! Thanks Again John!!!

The second call I was on hold for 15 minutes and they asked me to leave a message. 3 hours later I still have not heard back from them. I tried to call back & cancel the appointment - same story. I finally was able to cancel by replying to a confirmation text. Not a great way to do business. There are too many other options out there and I took one of them.
