My finance and I saw Vincent in 2012 weekly for 2 months of pre-marital counseling and then continued the counseling for the first 3-4 months of our marriage. He helped us set goals for the sessions and did a great job of really listening to us. He always gave us the space to tell him his observations weren't true to how we felt, but most often he was spot on. I always felt like we walked away with new insights about me/us and we would continue to process throughout the next week. I continued seeing him for another 6 months on my own as I realized during our marriage sessions that there were anxieties I had never dealt with or even realized I had. I moved during the 6 months and we continued our sessions over the phone, which was a huge relief to me as I did not want to start over with someone new. Vincent is flexible and so easy to work with. At the end of our counseling I felt I had truly accomplished the goals we set and felt armed with the tools and experiences to live whole-heartedly, without letting fear or anxiety run my life. I am so thankful for Vincent and the role he played in helping us set a strong foundation for our marriage and for my own individual life. I am a healthier individual, and wife because of my work with Vincent. He is absolutely worth the time and money.

I have rarely use yelp, but I feel it is my responsibility to write this review If you are in an active crisis, such as suicidal ideation, not only does he not help you, it feels like he is not taking it seriously at all. Chris is amazing. He is very compassionate and calm nature on the phone while booking my apt. I felt at ease and an exhale "finally, a psychiatrist that is going to help me" Dr. John is the complete opposite. After an hour valuation of past and present of previous psychiatrists, he told me that he did not want to treat me. I was too unstable and did not want to take on a person like me. Further, saying that at his time in his career his practice consists of people who come in, and just need refills. My case was just "too much for him". Instead of referring me to another psychiatrist that could take on more intensive needs, he gave me the phone number to the UCLA psych ward. So, if you are looking for a licensed drug pusher, he is your guy. If you are in desperate need of help or in crisis, do not go to him. I have never felt more "shamed" of my disorder, especially with mental illness already having such a bad stigma to begin with. Horrible doctor.

I am writing this review about Amber Robinson who has been my therapist for 3 years now…read more When I first started seeing Amber, it was for both myself and my ex spouse. Our marriage was in serious trouble and ultimately ended. (Not because of our therapist). There was just too much damage by then. After the separation from the spouse, I expressed to Amber my desire to continue the therapy with her on my own. This is when the magic really began for me. Amber saved my life and I mean that in a literal sense. Through the last 2 1/2 years, she has been a rock in my life. Someone that I grew to admire, respect, appreciate, and love. I was a broken human being and I just wanted to say goodbye to this world. Amber was there through the thick and thin, the ups and downs and never once faltered as a therapist. Never once judged me or spoke to me in a way that would make me feel shamed or less of a human. She is and always has been supportive, compassionate, and always honest with me. And honesty is very important for change. Where would I be today without having her as my therapist? The answer to my question is frightening and I am just happy that myself or anyone has to find out. To say that I am truly grateful for her is selling her short in my opinion. But I am truly grateful for her along with blessed. I am healthy, I am healing, and I am getting my life back together and I credit her with so much of this. Amber, I will never be able to truly make you completely comprehend the gratitude I have. You're amazing and I will forever remember you and the impact you made on my life. Thank you.

I quite literally cannot emphasize how grateful I am to have found Ron Gad, a psychologist but also…read morethe founder of Beverly Hills Therapy Group. If you need help with personal, professional, or marriage issues, I am a living testament that this man and his staff will help change your life. They have the skillsets and modalities to help you alleviate any personal or relationship struggles you may be facing. I initiated work with Ron when things came to a head with my husband and me. We participated in a 6 day intensive therapy retreat that forever changed our lives. He sets up the retreat agenda with insane intentionality behind it. It focuses on reconnecting through various means while also working through the most damaging/painful issues. My husband and I returned home with a better understanding of who we are individually, what we need collectively, and the tools to use as we navigate our marriage. I haven't felt this connected to my husband in years, and didn't know if there was even a possibility to do so prior to this retreat. After the retreat, we have both continued joint therapy and initiated individual therapy. Within a month of working with Ron, I already feel a shift in my overall well-being and self-understanding. I had cycled through several therapists over the last ten to fifteen years, but never felt like the internal work I did stuck with me. I would feel unmotivated to attend therapy after a few sessions and move on to a new therapist or stop all together. I didn't trust them, and I felt like I was just talking about issues and feelings but was not moving forward. This is where Ron really stands out to me: he focuses on solving present day issues by working through root causes. It is without question, that if we don't address the origin of our feelings, that we won't truly heal our wounds or change or behaviors. He has made me a firm believe in this, and I am continuing to see this play out. I deeply wish that anyone who reads this and is seeking help passively or desperately, reaches out to Beverly Hills Therapy Group today. I promise you it will change your life. I know it has for my husband and me. Outside of Ron's unquestionable skills, he is one of a kind. He is extremely likeable, hospitable (always has snacks, water, and coffee for you in his office), hysterical, and non-judgmental. He is open with his personal battles and very much humanizes the entire therapeutic experience. Good therapists are hard to find, but exceptional therapists are nearly impossible. I can't thank Ron and the BHTG enough.
