City Tire in Linconton, ga is number one for us. Honest, dependable, friendly and helpful. We always buy t.v. Tires from them on our way home to Michigan from Florida(snowbirds). On our last trip we had alternator trouble. They checked it out. No charge, printed out the recall notices, pointed us to a dealership in Augusta. Dealership said 24-48 hours for diagnostic. Then hopefully get parts and fix in 10 days!! Recall had already been fulfilled. We came back to city tire left the truck on Friday afternoon. Called an hour before closing with a request to fix the brakes on my husband's F150 king lariat. They were able to get it fixed the next day. He kept in touch with me about the price and what needed to be fixed so there were no surprises. I could have gotten a friend to change my brakes for much cheaper but it needed to be fixed quickly so we paid more for the convenience. When the tires (Michelin) wore out on my car at 40,000 miles, the City Tire owner recommended Nitto Motiva as replacements. I had never heard of these tires but was told they were actually better than Michelin, were quiet, cost quite a bit less and had a 60,000 mile tread warranty. They were installed, and filled with nitrogen for better wear. Every 5,000 miles City changed my oil and rotated the tires. At 30,000 miles the tires were worn out. No aggressive diving, just rural driving with an occasional trip. I was told there would be no warranty on the tires because I did not save every oil change rotation at the 5,000 mile intervals. The car had been serviced by only City Tire since it was brand new. The City Tire owner was well aware of this. He said since I didn't keep every receipt, Nitto would laugh at him if he sent the tires back to Nitto without the receipts. Bottom line: I was never told to keep every receipt for the routine oil change/rotation, Nitto tires do not wear as advertised, and City Tire does not stand behind the tires they sell. read more
