Dog walks are for an hour at a time, usually Monday to Friday. Some people do book just for one day a week, or for two times a day. Evening, early morning and weekend walks also catered for. For instance, I've done a two hour walk on a Sunday for an owner with a dog that needed it! Dog walkers can hold keys if you will not be in when they pick the dog up. Your dog's needs are catered for: it may be let off the lead or not, given treats or not, according to your wishes. Though we do sometimes walk dogs from different households together, it's only if the owner is happy with that, and usually only a couple at once. Walkers are insured and police records checked. As the company has a number of dog walkers on the books they can usually provide cover should the usual walker be unavailable. If you are interested in working for this company: it's run by the same lovely woman as Cat Care London. It's a nice, friendly company. Payment is monthly and prompt. Not going to make you rich, but better than the dole. Dog walking can be done as a nine to five, five days a week job, however a high level of commitment is demanded. You can't just take a sickie on impulse when a live animal may suffer as a result. It's also a physically demanding job which will mean walking and being out in all weathers for long hours. And you need to be confident handling dogs of all types and sizes: I definitely wouldn't recommend it for someone who doesn't like dogs. You do have to pick up their poo in public

We were nervous about finding someone to take care of the little man because our previous pet sitter returned Jason to us looking very thin indeed and with scars on his face which looked like bite marks. Doug heard what we said and has been sending photos of Jason actually eating and without bite marks! We're not using Doug's walking service on a regular basis because we don't live in his pick up area, but Jason is going out with his groups while he's staying with them. From what I've seen in the photos and when I did a trial walk with him and his groups it all seems to be going very smoothly. I don't want to tempt fate by writing a review too early, but what else can I do on sleepless night?

I had a very bad experience with this company, the owner was advised my dog was not being treated…read morewell and dismissed everything. I had requested she change walker and she refused, I stated i didn't want that person in my house and she said they would enter the house and i have proof on camera that they did enter and continued walking my dog. I asked to remove my dog from website and he is still on here. At the start it was not bad well no evidence of much harm but after that awful. Dog lost nail, constant behaviour changes, fearful and head injuries. The way things were handled very bad. I have emails which you would not believe. I'm in the process of legal action... this is just money making people no care at all. You can have a lot of certificates but if you care more about money than animal welfare you shouldn't have a business like this
