Stepping into City Framing is dangerous for people like me who love buying little gifts 'just because'. So many things (other than framing) to get sidetracked buying! The shop atmosphere is friendly, non threatening (no one in your face) and cultured. Over the last year I finally got organised with my collection of much loved photos, prints and posters - taking them out of boxes and down to City Framing for careful attention. The owners take time to speak with you about framing options, different looks, care requirements and costs. I've always been very pleased with their work on over 15 pieces I've placed in their care, and think their attention to detail and quality is well worth the cost. read more

Picture framing can be quite expensive, but if you are like me and have some treasured artwork, photos or awards/certificates that deserve framing, then I'd highly suggest City Framing. The prices are quite high, but the service and quality of frames are of a premium standard. They have a large range of frames and they also have a range of eco-friendly and sustainable alternatives, which is great if you are environmentally conscious. The customer service is great in this store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are good with advice on the frames that would suit different items and have 23 years experience to back them up. City Framing is well worth the visit for framing your prized possessions. Customer service is wonderful and the quality of materials and work is premium. read more

Previously located on Adelaide Street, Brisbane, City Framing has now moved to our workshop (Abel Framing) location in Bowen Hills. Here you will find the same extensive range of frames to select from along with our experienced staff who are eager to help you to find the best framing solution for you and your work. City Framing is a family owned and operated business with more than 30 years experience in custom picture framing. Pop in soon, we look forward to meeting you! Please note we do have free off street parking available out front of the studio.

John & Julie Henke started the business in 1987 and have developed a fantastic reputation for producing high quality custom picture framing. Their daughter Kate has framing in her blood and is an amazing textile designer/artist as well as running the Abel Framing studio where all our work is made.

I walked into Da Vinci Art to get a quote of how much it would be to frame a painting. Their shop…read moreis located in the massive Indooroopilly shopping centre, on level 3. Now I know that custom framing is never cheap but Da Vinci gave a pretty reasonable quote. The lady there was so helpful, both in describing all on offer and giving me a number of quotes to walk away with. I like it when a place does not pressure you or try and make the deal that day. Rather, she let me take the quotes home and have a good think about what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend. I have not had the picture framed yet but so far the service has been great and I definitely recommend checking them out next time you have something precious you want framed.
