When we moved from Colorado to Missouri, I was delighted to find several within walking distance of our new home. Under a shingled roof with white walls, this library has double doors painted pink and three small drawers. It's definitely an unusual shape. Inside, the shelves are not very tall so the books are lying on their sides. Mostly fiction and a couple of childrens books. There is some street parking. Be sure you're not blocking the bus stop. It is a wooden library and it looks like it's been here for a while as the wood is quite aged. That's not a complaint - it shows character. The library has two doors and are secured with latches. A small selection of books inside including some thrillers, some hardcovers and some retired library books. Located on the grounds of Auburn Square, this is one of the largest of the community free libraries…read morethat I've seen in some time. About seven feet tall with a single door, inside are FOUR shelves of books. It is on a concrete patch that has been painted with books and a rainbow and the phrase, "Once upon a time." The books are a bit jumbled but there are children's books, thrillers, self-help books and more. It was so full that I didn't put any of my own books inside. That's great to see!
