I realize appointments frequently take longer than expected and running late is not uncommon. I think we should have been told at 9:30 that we were facing at least 4 hours in the waiting room. Rescheduled for next week but I am gonna try to set up up an appointment with doctor I've been to. This was not an auspicious start. For the first time the extent of my problem was measured. My ability to move my arm was severely limited. Diana, my therapist, was very frank with me. My therapy would be long and painful...she was right. I have only done three weeks of therapy and I'm seeing significant improvement. She measured again and was pleased with my progress. I will continue. I'm impressed by the cleanliness of their facility and the friendly staff that greats me when i arrive.

I met with Dr. Miller and he recommended Carpal Tunnel surgery as I had had cortisone shots and physical therapy and it did not help. It's been over 3 months since my surgery and the use and the strength of my hand is 99% back to normal and getting better everyday. The office opened at 7:40 am. If you try to call to make an appointment or for any inquiry, the office assistants rarely answer the phone, and if they do they put you on hold forever. In conclusion, such a terrible office experience destroyed the good care quality we had with Dr. Cortes.

The orthopedic surgeon who performed the surgery was Dr. Juan Carlos Suarez from Baptist Health. The procedure is called knee arthroplasty. Dr. Suarez specializes in using a robotic arm to repair the knee. He was one of the most qualified surgeons in South Florida. The procedure was successful and I'm now recuperating and walking normally without any assistance. I highly recommend this surgeon for hip and knee replacement.
