Citibank fraud protection is insane. I spent total of 3.5 hours speaking to 4 different people to fix a what Citibank deemed was suspicious transaction. Citibank uses VOIP their customer service staff works remote in Philippines. So you have to listen to roosters, chickens and people talking Tagalog, they claim they are in an office. Where they are in restaurant , backyard or who knows where. Service reps spend 70% of the call thanking you for being a client apologizing for the inconvenience and basically wasting time blowing smoke up my butt than helping me. The internet speeds are slow as snail probably dial up. They make billions of dollars a year. You would think they could service clients better. I've banked with Citi for 35 years. It's a joke. Plus you have to listen to their marketing recordings for 5 mins before you can speak to a live person. read more

How is this a citibank branch. But the ATM's are out of service? Why arent there any other working ATM's if the only 2 they have are out of order. The fact that I had to spend money on parking and they dont have ATM's working is ridiculous. I don't like this at all. read more

It's not a bad bank. Just know how difficult it is when you're here to withdraw the rest of your money and to close out your account.

What can I say? This place fulfills the duties of any imaginable bank. Friendly and welcoming staff, the place is squeeky clean which is great and they have their own (tiny) but free parking space! The parking man is extremely nice too! I love their convenient ATMS that require your citibank card to go inside. Do other banks have this? I've seen sketchy ATMS that are placed outside of banks that look extremeeely questionable read more

Great bank! I was with a different bank for years and felt like I was stuck in the dark ages with paper deposit slips, long lines, slow service. Very helpful staff at this Citibank, mobile banking, good location, etc. Glad I switched over! read more

The bank teller, Jessica, provided me with great customer service this morning. She was very tentative, gave me a pack of red envelopes for Chinese New Year, and a Dum Dum lollipop. She then referred me to her coworker, Lu Zhang, to tell me about their current promotions and products. Lu Zhang was very patient in telling me about their promotions and trying to sell me their products. Scored another pack of red envelopes! read more

Wow! I've never had a better experience at a bank than this Citibank. The entire bank is efficient and everyone is incredibly helpful and professional. I would like to especially point out Charlie H. who works hard and has a very positive attitude. I've been doing business with Citibank for over 20 years and this paritcular location is simply the BEST! read more

Parking entrance is on Hill St!!! Hard to enter with one way in and one way out which is tight. Employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. Good vibes. Secure ATM area in case you need to get cash after hours. Secure ATM area can be dirty at times. read more

I love this Ciro Bank. Everyone is great. This is the worst bank I've ever been into. According to the bank teller Mariah, who couldn't figure anything out without having to go ask her supervisor Michelle for help several times, my bank account wasn't fully set up even though I've been banking with them for almost a year. So I wasn't able to take my own money out of my account. And the supervisor left the store unattended and Mariah refused to get a supervisor or manager to come speak to us. Last I checked it was illegal and unprofessional as a business to refuse customers to speak to a supervisor when clearly their tellers are incompetent and lack common knowledge. And not to mention the young security that they have working for this location, extremely unprofessional. Everyone there needs better training, especially in customer service. Thankfully Citibank over the phone was able to help me and let me get my money out. read more

Citibank - Doesn't know what she's doing, doesn't know how to handle situations, horrible customer service. - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Today, I went to open a Saving and Checking Account at the Chinatown Branch. I was welcomed by Ms. Lu Zhang, Customer Service, who is very kind, respectful, and most helpful. I felt right at home with her, and I am truly grateful that she assisted me in answering all my questions as well as informed me that if I am ever in need of her assist's I could email her or call her and she would help me. Ms. Zhang instructed me prior to leaving her office on what was needed for me to complete my online account. She stated, that I will be able to add my user name and password which was a simple task. Ms. Zhang, thank you for all you assistance it was a pleasure meeting you. read more

Why am I writing a review for a bank, let alone a bank that I don't even bank with?? I came in yesterday to cash my personal check from a CitiBank user and was helped by a teller Ms. Luc. Even though I use a different bank, Ms Luc treated me with respect as if I was a client and helped me process what I needed. To top it off, compared to the bank I use, this place had no line at all the 2 times I came here during peak hours. To be honest this is my first time in any CitiBank but I highly recommend los angeles locals to use this branch. Not once did they try to get me to sign up anything like the other bank- vultures I've been to. read more

Its a bank. What do you want? I love that citibank has their atms inside for customers only. Feels much safer after hours.

This bank CITI BANK IS THE WORST BANK EVER! I switched because I thought they were going to be a great bank and boy from day one I was just having MIGRANE AFTER MIGRANE ! They have great customer service in my opinion , I will be honest but they have to I'm guessing to try to sway you away from the ridiculous rules they have in place ! I dread having to make a bank call, sometimes I don't want to spend money because I'm like what new curve ball are they going to throw at me this time .... bottom line one representative told me my funds would be AVAILABLE ON A WEDNESDAY and the OTHER REPRESENTATIVE I called said, my funds would be AVAILABLE IN A WEEK....... IF YOUR THINKING ABOUT JOING PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT!!!!! read more

Don't trust Citi bank. Doesn't matter how good of a history you have with this company. Good credit limit, great payment history with this company doesn't matter. My whole family had COVID, I had two neck surgeries, a back surgery, physical therapy, several epidurals and all the diagnostic procedures necessary. Yes I depleted my savings and had a few medical bills go to collections which I have payed. And yet Citi did a review and dropped my line of credit over $9,000, even though I had great payment history with them, dropping my credit score and making it harder to recover. Why? Because this company can care less about their customers. I'm going to cancel both my cc and savings account and I advise you to take your money elsewhere. Btw I called after the credit reduction and was told they couldn't fix this and referred me to a 866 number to resolve, yeah that was Equifax. See, your history with them means zip. read more

Awesome branch with high energy employees. Good vibe. Very colorful and clean layout. Employees are knowlegable and very effecient.

This has got to be the slowest CitiBank in California. They have 1 teller working while 3 people are sitting at computers doing nothing (my opinion). The line is near the door. They do NOT have a business line therefore I have to wait. Poor service. Will not come here ever again. read more

I am very disappointed with the customer service provided by this branch A) When first time I visited this many weeks ago, the cashier was not happy that I made some cash changes. B) Yesterday 04/29/16 @11:45am I walked into this branch and find no cashier at the counter. I am surprised after a couple of minutes. One cashier holding some documents on hand and told me to wait for a few minutes. C) I asked "only one cashier" and she said that there is another cashier doing photocopy. I was wondering why not serve customer first and do the photocopy later. I wait a while and told her I am in a hurry and can she serves me and she told me that she is serving customer but I just saw a couple sitting there. I was unhappy then the cashier went photocopying than serve me. Please improve the customer service at this branch. Thanks read more
