[I came for second opinion as my dentist had insisted on the crowning with exorbitant prices!] I will definitely switch dentist now!

Good to know, noted for future reference. Last night, I started having a toothache but being a stubborn kind of guy, I thought I would gut it out and everything would be just fine. I certainly didn't want to spend my last holiday vacation day going to the dentist. Just in case it got worse, I sent a FB message via Messenger around 1AM looking to get a response by the time I woke up in the morning. Surprisingly, someone responded within a few minutes. Well done, social media and a late night almost instant response. Scored points with me for sure. But I didn't sleep very well because of the toothache so at 5am, I set up an appt with my regular dentist online through his website. I called him an hour before just to make sure we were good but it turns out he was out of town and his staff didn't update his availability. Great! Went to the notebook on my phone and looked up the guys who got all the kudos and accolades. I looked up their reviews (all positive), looked up where they went to school and when they graduated (local guys), and etc. Someone on FB Messenger told me that the office was open at 9am and if I wanted to set up an appointment, they would be happy to take care of me. I called them after finding out my regular dentist wasn't in town and they gave me an appointment for three hours later, on a Sunday! I went in and they followed good social distancing practices, the place was clean, and the doc, Junoh Kim, walked me through everything that was going to happen, during, and after. He answered all my questions with pleasure and patience, no attitude, no judgement, no preaching, which is always appreciated. There wasn't anyone after me but he took his time, didn't rush through the process, and it was generally a good experience, considering it was a visit to the dentist on a Sunday during Thanksgiving weekend. I definitely recommend KW Dental and not that I look forward to the next visit, but I know that I will feel comfortable going to these guys in the future. 2020 is a weird year and businesses are all being affected so wanted to make sure to call these guys out for their good patient services.

So as usual, they applied the numbing cream in her mouth and gave her the shot before starting the filling. The assistant left dental vacuum in her mouth after the shot. Almost 8-10min into the waiting, the assistant realized that the dental vacuum has been sucking on my daughter's uvula all that time. When she arrived home, her uvula was irritated, Swollen and her throat was hurting. We called the office only to be told to take her to the ER without having any apology rendered to us. we waiting for the next day to call and complain but no one answered. My husband attempted to reach dental office several times on Friday to speak to the doctor but no one replied. Finally, Ashley, the receptionist, answered on Saturday. My husband asked for to speak to the doctor who attended our daughter or someone who is in charge of the office. Ashley informed him that no one is here to address the concerns but SHE can help. Therefore my husband explained her the situation and requested that he will appreciate a call back from the doctors on Monday or Tuesday. Ashley's reply was, "if the doctors feel it is necessary, then she will callback!". THAT ANSWER WAS UNACCEPTABLE, especially if it is concerning about your child and to someone you have been giving business to. My husband then mentioned that if does not hear from the doctor by Monday, he will leave the review of this experience on google and Yelp. To that, Ashley called my husband rude and told him "to do what he needs to done from your end". It is sad that some of these professionals starts to slack in there profession until 'an accident' occurs, so we wanted to speak to the doctor about that, but no one deserves to be told off especially WHEN ONE DESERVE AN APOLOGY (as an patient done wrong to). It was not a charity work, but was paid services and believe you and me, there are a lot of capable businesses out there who would appreciate our business and complaint, if needed to be discuss.

The receptionist stated that she needed special codes from my insurance company before seeing me. I completely understand that.... but I made my appointment about 3 weeks prior. Why didn't anyone reach out to me or my insurance company in the days leading up to my appointment? Mind you, their automated system kept sending me alerts about my upcoming appointment. The receptionist stated that she would call my insurance company and get the appropriate codes and call me back on Monday. I never received a call. Lack of professionalism on their behalf. Aside from that, my husband had an appointment as well. Different insurance company. And he was in the clear to see the dentist for a routine cleaning. And then the receptionist told us the hygienist was not there today, and asked us to reschedule. Again.... UNPROFESSIONAL!! Why didn't anyone reach out to tell us that we couldn't do a simple cleaning? Do these people understand that we took the time out of our work day to attend these appointments??? What's the purpose of an appointment if you can't see the dentist? It was a rainy day, but there was a lot of patients in the waiting room which made me feel extremely uncomfortable in the midst of a pandemic. They should schedule their patients in a timely manner so there are no large gatherings of people...
