When I initially went in I prepaid $70.00 he asked me what type of gas I was getting? That kinda struck me odd because he isn't in control of that from inside anyway. The sign said 309 but 70 got me just under 15 gal. After telling a friend she described her experience. A new car off the lot, 2nd time it was fueled and it broke down because of water in the gas. I was straight up lied to and almost tricked!! I was quoted $55 for a diagnostic on a fuel…read moredelivery problem. We assumed it was the fuel pump but wanted to have a professional look at it. Was told, by a man named Wylie, that it was indeed the pump and that it would cost about $700 for the part and the labor. I thought that was really high. Wylie also stated that he could only locate one fuel pump assembly and it was in Texas and would take a couple of weeks to get (the auto parts store Next door carries the part). I looked up some information on the part and the process and found that the average charge for this is about $225. I told Wylie that I would not be having him make these repairs and would be there later to get my vehicle. He then told me that the diagnostic charge was $160. I reminded him that he told me that would only be $55 and he then said that he had to take out the back seat in order to look at the fuel pump and diagnose the problem. He never asked if he could do that or told me there would be an additional charge. He ended up settling for $90 and I did the repair myself in about 30 minutes and it cost me about $70. I did however, have to buy a new battery which was working fine until it was put in his care. Wylie is not trust worthy. No one should trust him with their car or wallet. He tried to tell me I had a duel fuel pump like in a BMW and I do not. I asked him "so I have 2 pumps" and he said "yes there is a back up pump" I then said "and both need replaced " and he said "yes you have to do both" when I took the seat out it was very obvious that it was the first time that the seat had been removed. It had a corroded sound sheet that had to be peeled off to get to the pump and it had not been touched. And as I thought there was only one pump. Be careful folks, you don't have to know everything or just trust what you're told, use the internet to validate what you are told.
