When I've had to go inside, the counter person has been pleasant, polite and attentive. But me having to go inside is why I only give them four out of five stars. Frequently the pumps won't give a receipt and I have to go in to get it. That defeats the whole purpose of paying at the pump.

And with their close proximity to QuickChek and competition, this place will always have the cheapest gas (with the discount card)! The mobile app is a breeze to use and so convenient. The people who work here are super nice and patient with anyone who needs help using the app. I have yet to get a sandwich here, but they have it all. Pastries, hot food, cold drinks and snacks. The only negative I'll say is that you have to pay for air, where it's free down the road at QuickChek. It's $1 for 3 minutes. If you had free air, there would be no reason for me ever to go to QuickChek again.

They also have the E-85 fuel (for vehicles containing the "flex fuel" option). The store inside is generally clean and stocked well. They have a decent assortment of typical gas station food and coffee. The staff generally seem pretty cold and down in the dumps, although I'm not sure why. You don't get a friendly feeling when you walk into this store. If I'm in the area, I generally use this gas station for the cheap fuel prices but not for the store.

I also like the fact that there's two entrances to get in and out of this valero. one entrance is off of the main road 17 K and the other entrance is down a side street off of 17 K. From there then you can turn into the gas station. One of the biggest bonuses of this gas station is that they are one of the only gas stations in the Newburgh area that have E-85 gas This Valero is a pretty big gas station it is a full service convenient store as well. The staff here is great the two same guys are pretty much there every single time that I come here. There is a full service subway restaurant inside of the gas station that has its own subway staff members. I have eaten at that subway a few times on the way back from trips and they do do a good job for a subway. Overall this is the gas station that I go to get my gas. not only do they carry regular gas but they also carry E-85 gas. The station has a lot of pumps and the staff is always friendly. I do recommend going to this Valero if you're in the area. PROS: - they have E-85 gas! - staff is nice

I have a different car now. I'm looking for something new and exciting, and although the gas experience I had was like every other gas experience, this time, what I found different was the fact that when you enter your Shell Rewards card, Shell will now send you email receipts of your gas fill-ups, regardless of what you select on the pay-at-the-pump terminals (something that GasBuddy needs that is lacking to them in the store). I guess this location needs that extra power to disperse emailed receipts. They are super close to the main interstate (I-84) at 5 minutes north (going southbound only) on Route 9.
