This place has really good deep fried gator tail. I always stop in and get some whenever I'm crossing the state on 60.

I really like that the Florida Turnpike has service plazas with easy exits and entrances. They…read moredon't take you far off your route, so it's quick to stop and just as easy to get back on the highway, which makes road trips much more convenient. I stopped at this location because I needed a pick me up and saw there was a Dunkin. There was plenty of parking, and the location was easy to access. The only thing I didn't like was the ordering process. When I went inside, I thought you had to order from the kiosk because no one greeted me or explained the process. Since it was my first time at this location, I used the kiosk. Unfortunately, you can't use the Dunkin Rewards app when ordering that way, so I wasn't able to earn points on my purchase, which was disappointing. I ordered an iced coffee for about $7, and it didn't take long to be prepared. My name was called at the pickup counter when it was ready, and my order was correct. Since I was on a road trip, I also used the restrooms. They were clean and well maintained, which is always something I appreciate during long drives. This is a convenient stop on the Florida Turnpike. It's easy to get in and out, has plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and is a great place to grab a coffee or a quick bite before getting back on the road.

And although there's construction on the land north of the buildings, there's none inside. Plus they actually have all the restaurants that are listed on the signs outside. We stopped first for gas. It's a shell station. The gas was reasonable for regular considering it's the turnpike. We came in the main building to check them out and do a bathroom run. As they had an Auntie Anne's, I couldn't resist getting a pretzel.
