I just saw OVO, and wow, what an incredible show where you are immersed in the world of birth and renewal of insects. You are transported to another world of magic and artistry; allow yourself to bask in this ethereal world! The acrobatics were phenomenal, the costumes stunning and the music/singing just glorious. This Montréal-based company has simply knocked it out of the park yet again. Also, the new pavilion is glorious in its immensity and grandeur. Bravo!

Love all of Cirque Du Soleil! Every show is different and imaginative and exciting. Under the big top was a smaller venue than Vegas permanent ones but they managed to bring all the showmanship and talent too. Would definitely recommend Echo!

We went to see their latest show "Echo". Loved it! Certainly not at the level of their shows in Las Vegas but still exceptional for Toronto. Try to find parking nearby as getting out of the dedicated parking area after the show took almost half an hour.

I attended one of their final shows a few months ago in Toronto, and I am so glad I was able to catch it! The whole show was spectacular and breathtaking! From the beginning (pre-show), the hosts/clowns and king carried the show in terms of entertainment! In addition, the individual acts that formulate an overall plot add to the experience a lot. The only negative thing about this particular venue and my seating area was that during the wheel of death portion, my view was obstructed and was not able to witness the act fully.

Just a beautiful show. I suppose you could call Kooza a "classic" Cirque Du Soleil show. There aren't any modern gimmicks like rock climbing or mountain bikes. Instead, it's set in a kind of fantasy world, starring an innocent clown, and another more mischievous one, in a world with a vaguely South Asian aesthetic. I can't say I understood everything that was happening, but I wasn't ever bored! It has all the things you think of when you think of Cirque Du Soleil: elaborate costumes, amazing acrobatics, and wonderful live backing music. It's all kind of awe-inspiring, I was left wondering how human beings were able to do such incredible and seemingly impossible things over and over again. Now, is it worth it? I'll admit, I didn't have to pay to watch Kooza (thanks Alexandra, I Love You!!). But would I pay the $150 or so (possibly more) per person to watch a show? I'd say absolutely, yes! Ultimately, it's a small price to pay for something that is so amazing, emotional, and unforgettable.

I loved the show and you can be sure that any Cirque du Soleil's show is going to be amazing and spectacular

The entrance and lobby area is quite impressive with the grand staircase and chandelier. We were there to see Water for Elephants in this two tiered auditorium that seats up to two thousand people. We caught several broadway shows at this vast venue, including Peter Pan. We were impressed by the aerial lifts, dynamic backdrop and the swift Tinker Bell glow. The modern special effects of the show are a neat contrast to the 1920s architectural styles and decor of the historic building. The theatre has been kept in pristine condition, and the seats are comfortable. The foyer can hold a packed crowd during intermission, and features a grand staircase & concessions. Note the current theatre name is CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre but be careful not to mix this up with Mirvish's other CAA Theatre that is 20 minutes walk north. Glad we made it ahead of showtime in spite of this!

I celebrated my birthday at Famous PEOPLE Players Theatre with my mom and teenage son, and…read morehonestly, it was one of the most memorable nights we've had in a long time as a family. I had seen the show many years ago as a teen on a school trip, before they had their own venue. Like a good wine--or anything special that ages with care and purpose--it has only gotten better with time. The cross-city rush hour drive was absolutely worth it once we arrived. The venue, located in a strip mall/industrial park, had plenty of free parking. We stepped into a one-story, open, airy, and accessible building that immediately felt welcoming. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of joy that set the tone for the evening. We were escorted to our table in a dining area that felt both spacious and intimate. Everything was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully arranged. The tables were dressed with cloth napkins, tablecloths, and seat covers, giving it a relaxed yet elegant feel. I especially loved the photos of celebrities who've been involved with the company, tastefully displayed around the room. The service throughout the night was excellent. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They struck the perfect balance, friendly and warm without being overbearing. We truly felt like more than just guests. We felt part of something meaningful. The evening unfolded in three acts. Act 1: Dinner. The meal far exceeded our expectations. Each course--from the appetizer to the main--was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated. I'm not usually a fan of salad, but I really enjoyed the one served. Even my son, who's not easily impressed when it comes to food, not only cleaned his plate, he raved about the meal. Act 2: The Show. Before the performance, the cast encouraged us to sing and dance in our seats, and we did not hold back. Twist and Shout was a high-energy, creative, feel-good experience. The puppetry, lighting, and choreography were brilliantly done, and you could feel the joy radiating from the stage. Watching my son fully engaged made it all the more special. Act 3: Coffee and Dessert. The desserts were decadent--two types of chocolate delights. My son and I went halvesies on both, a perfect sweet ending to the evening. What really sets this place apart is its purpose. You're not just seeing a show; you're supporting something meaningful--an inclusive and empowering space that celebrates ability in a truly unique and beautiful way. Equity, inclusion, and diversity are not just buzzwords here. They're lived values, visible both on stage and behind the scenes in a way that feels authentic and inspiring. If you're looking for something uplifting, meaningful, and different from the usual night out, this is it. It's rare to find something that resonates across generations, but this did. It would be a fantastic option for schools looking to offer students a fun and impactful experience, and it would also make a memorable, purpose-driven setting for a corporate event. Whether you're going with family, colleagues, or students, this place is a gem. The experience itself felt like incredible value for the money.

Watching it, it reminded me of Shanghai and their clubs with all the lights, and electric music. Immediately I was excited! So I called them and made a reservation on Monday for Friday for 5 people. I got in contact with Alex, the manager, he set us up for Friday and answered any question I had. As this place is very new, there weren't many images or a website set up when I found them, and I was still unsure if they were open due to COVID. But they are open! I informed my girls of this place, they were thrilled and our group quickly turned from 5 to 7. Luckily, I called Leng Keng back asking if I could increase the size of my party & they were able to accommodate me! During our reservation: Coming to the place, the exterior isn't the most attractive setting. But as we looked past it, inside was just like the video that I had seen. It took me back to the time I was out with my expat friends in Shanghai club hopping. Covid protocols: Since we're still in a pandemic, Leng Keng had great protocols emplaced. As we showed our IDs to security, we signed in with our name and phone numbers. Once inside, there were masks & hand sanitizer available at the door. The tables were well distanced and people would stay within their allocated booths. The atmosphere of Leng Keng is extremely beautiful, nothing like I've ever seen in other Toronto bars/lounges/clubs. The lights are constantly moving & changing colours very beautifully as electric music plays in the background. We were greeted by very nice servers that showed us to our table. Once seated, we were able to take in the place more, & my friends were truly impressed by the place. For food we ordered Calamari and French Fries to share. For drinks we ordered Cosmos, Rum & Coke, Margaritas & a couple shots of Vodka. Everything tasted well, besides the Calamari that was slightly too fishy, the Margaritas didn't come with limes or salt on the rim of the cup. Other than that, this place was magnificent & we do believe Leng Keng has great potential in being the next trending spot in Toronto. We will be back soon! Thank you!

Also, I have read the book and movie adaptation many years ago so I didn't remember much. The Outsiders was amazing. It was pretty similar to the book and movie but there were some changes. The music and songs (mainly the group ones) seem have a similar volume to concerts. The lines (non music parts) were understandable. In terms of seating, I would pick the elevated levels (dress or balcony) compared to the (back) orchestra. Entering was straight forward. They don't really check bags. They may check larger bags like backpacks. You can bring and fill empty clear plastic water bottle at the bar (on the 2nd floor).
