This was the best place yet. The owners are Dallas,Texas transplants, and I still cannot imagine how they successfully acclimated themselves to a place like Wheeling. But they did so perfectly. Edna's manages to be quaint and friendly, like the best of small-town parlors, but as heady, progressive and trendy as the best NYC Salons (where one can never get an appointment). Unexpectedly, there was no "Edna," but the Place was beautiful. Relaxing. And the conversation was brisk. These guys would be raking in big bucks in a larger city, but they obviously love their adopted hometown. And I Love Edna's.

My daughter's acrylics were so thick and heavy that several broke her natural nails near the cuticle. We were nervous about trying another salon, but Bella Nails was amazing. Everyone was kind, patient, and understanding. They fixed everything properly and made sure we were both happy. They were especially sweet with my daughter and added adorable nail designs she loves. The quality is so much better, and the experience was a night-and-day difference. We're so grateful we found Bella Nails and will definitely be back!

Firstly, the space here is gorgeous. The salon is admittedly small, but they make good use of their space. They were also very accommodating of our big group, and allowed us to sit throughout the entire place (rather than just waiting up front for people to finish one at a time). That made this cozy place all the more welcoming and enjoyable. Additionally, the staff here were very organized. They had planned exactly which team member would work with each member of the bridal party, so there was never any hesitation or doubt about someone being overlooked. And they were a delight to chat with, too! I never felt awkward or uncomfortable while I was in my chair. Snacks and drinks were also provided to us, and the staff even offered to clean up after large our party left (presumably to minimize stress on a wedding day). We still did our best to clean up on our way out, but the gesture was very appreciated. Based on the wedding prep experience alone, I would recommend them to anyone looking for some beauty care. (I think that in addition to makeup and hair styling, they can also do haircuts, waxing, etc. And they definitely sell beauty products as well.) They did an amazing job and made the entire experience fun and easy on and otherwise busy, borderline hectic day. Thank you so much for your help, ladies!
