I needed to get gas and a drink and use the restroom before getting back on the interstate. When I asked the associate for the key to the restroom (as the sign instructed me to do) she was extremely hesitant and said "are you even going to buy anything?". I informed her that I was and had also planned on getting gas. After returning the key I went to select my drink. Upon returning to the register I overheard her telling an individual that she was babysitting that the only reason I was buying something was because she asked me if I was going to. She was extremely rude throughout the entire check out process. I decided to spend my money on gas somewhere else as a result of the absolutely ridiculous treatment I experienced at Sweet Pea's. Most people using the restroom at gas stations use the restroom BEFORE selecting their food/drink items... it is extremely unsanitary to do so before using the restroom, was I supposed to carry them in there with me? Absolutely absurd. I surely expected better service from somewhere name "sweet pea's".

After finding out the nearest Circle K had no restrooms for the public, this was the next closest…read moregas station and it was with many Hail Mary's that I entered and yay! Was met with success! They have 1 restroom, which is unisex, but it was clean, had toilet paper and the store clerk was super nice. The store had the usual convenience items plus a selection of fresh hot coffee. Limited selection of real foods to eat compared to Kwik Trip. Nice outside. And slow service to get change at the counter when we checked out. Ambiance was chill but not amazing. Could have been friendlier service. Good visit overall. Not elite but clean and orderly.
