I've used this CVS for years and thought I had reviewed it previously but…read more.. So today we got shots for the flu and corona V. We set up an appointment on line and arrived about 10 minutes early. I think we waited 2 or 3 minutes, the pharmacist came out and gave us both our shots. Easy cheesy - in and out in less than 10 min for both of us to get our shots. Knowledgeable staff, friendly, on top of what they do, prices are right. What's not to like?

I live nearby and often walk to CVS, usually just browsing. I was looking for a foundation shade and asking my friends if it matched. I looked outside and saw her staring again. This isn't the first time; every time I visit with my sister, she's always giving me dirty looks and staring. I don't know who the manager was at that moment, but it was about two hours ago. My friends and I were simply walking, browsing makeup and snacks because we were in a snacking mood. I wanted to buy foundation but felt uncomfortable because she was too close in my personal space, just enough to hear her breathing. I called her a B because my friend heard her calling us names too. I think it was the manager because she was really close. The first time we went there without my other friend, we were looking at sharpies because we wanted some, and she was just staring at us. We also walked past some snacks I've tried before, and I said they taste bad because a friend bought me one a few weeks ago. but I didn't say it directly to her. And at the time I was like just genuinely confused on why to get following us and until she cornered me me and my friends and was like the manager told me to watch you specifically and I was like oh my bad I didn't know and she was like yeah that is your bad and I swear I felt spit all over my face when she was done talking. I was talking with my friends and I was like why is this B following us? I'd rate this gas station higher except:…read more The gas pumps blare obnoxiously the entire time your filling up. Put a mute button on that! We bought 2 pizzas to share at a card game. Now the Dayton area is known far and wide for crappy pizza (there are some exceptions to this) and I'd put this pizza in the top end of that crappy pizza category. The crust is ok, not great but ok. The sauce has a bit of tangy flavor. The pepperoni could use an upgrade. I'll go back but only because it's the closest gas station to where I live.

During my visit, I attempted to purchase vape pods while accompanied by my stepson. I am a Black…read moreman, and my stepson is Caucasian. Upon reaching the register, the clerk refused to complete my purchase, citing an assumption that I was conducting an illegal proxy (third-party) sale to a minor. This assumption was entirely unfounded and inaccurate. I am a returning customer at this location and have previously purchased these exact items while accompanied by my stepson without any issue. On this occasion, however, the clerk made an immediate, biased judgment about our relationship and my intent purely based on our physical appearance and racial differences. While I understand and respect that retail employees must comply with age-verification laws and regulations regarding tobacco and vapor products, these policies must be applied standardly and professionally. Refusing service based on visual assumptions about a racially diverse family dynamic is profiling, discriminatory, and unacceptable. The clerk's behavior was humiliating and unprofessional. I request that corporate management review the store's security and audio footage from this visit to evaluate the clerk's conduct. I am seeking a formal response regarding how this situation will be addressed to ensure that customers are not subjected to racial profiling or unfair treatment in your stores moving forward. Just a heads up if you want to buy any tobacco products or alcohol products make sure you leave your kids in the car. As stated before I purchase there before sometimes I get carded and sometimes I don't. It was the supervisor that was at the register (female) and a male manager that agreed with her. I asked when this rule set in place and they said it always has which it not true.
