It's a touristy gift shop, with some specialty items, lots of buc-ees branded merch, convenience store style hot food items, coffee, stuff for your car, your pets and you, your kids, your sweetie. I'm not sure if it's a mini mall, an expanded truck stop convenience store, or a glaring testament to consumerism. What makes it different from the usual convenience store might be the bbq cutting station with periodic group shouts from the guys working that area. I have no idea what they were saying, but it happened pretty regularly and you could hear it all over the store. And let's talk about the fudge station. Oh yes .... Winner on that. Still, it's a convenience store, a couple of steps above the norm, but once you get beyond the circus-y vibe, it's an experience that leaves me with the meh mindset for a repeat. Except maybe for that fudge and the people working the checkout counters ...

Yes it is more expensive than other stations in the city, but Im a member of the Shell fuel rewards program and it took .10 cents off a gallon, which made it about the same price as other stations. The exterior was clean, pumps were working and everything was brightly lit.

We stopped going here cause of these reasons and said we would only go if we had cash or a gift card. So, I just went earlier this week but only because I had a gift card. I used the gift card earlier this week and it went through fine. I had $20 left on the gift card and what do you know, declined today. No surprise there. These people suck. Don't go unless you either want you card to be declined, or your card to be hacked.

They had a stack of paper shopping bags to the side - the right kind with handles. I pointed and asked for two of them, and the guy refused to give them to me. I gestured at all of my groceries and told him I needed to walk blocks back to my hotel and pleaded with him for a bag or two. He tells me "those are for Uber Eats orders only".
