Yes, the Putin invasion has made it much worse. Despite the obscenely higher prices of everything, this convenience store is my favorite in Sierra Vista. For one reason, the variety of soft drinks, all sizes of which WERE less than a dollar, though, like everything else these days, they're higher now. For another, gasoline here is usually the lowest-priced in town. First reason, though, is the courtesy of the personnel. Friendliness and courtesy is the norm in Sierra Vista, even at convenience stores, but the nice folks here usually are number one in those aspects. For anyone in this part of town, East Fry Boulevard, I strongly recommend this Speedway. And I suggest you get a loyalty card to save even more. Speedway corporation has spread widely across these United States. I've shopped in Speedways in Indiana and Tennessee previously, but this one is my favorite. It's one of the few drive-through car washes in the area that I can use because I have a rear luggage rack on my vehicle that bans me from other car washes in the area. The problem is, this car wash is usually OUT OF SERVICE. I've checked every day this week and see it's still closed. This is so frustrating as I have two car wash coupons that will expire soon if I can't use them. Other than a non-working car wash, though, customer service here is great, the place is kept clean, and they are normally well-stocked. The hot breakfast and lunch food items run out early, though.

Biggest issue is lack of employees and lack of self check out. If you aren't going to have a self check out, at least have more people working the registers. And that's the thing, there are other employees who will be actively working, restocking, etc, and then will make eye contact with a line of 10+ people and keep going about their business while one person works the register. I know it's frustrating to me, and I can see the frustration increasing from everyone else in line.

It has fuel pumps for "four-wheelers" in profusion on one side, as well as plenty of parking for customers who are wanting products other than fuel, such as snacks or sodas or lottery tickets, and diesel pumps for commercial or over-the-road vehicles on the other side. In my years of travel across most of these United States, I have never seen a lovelier convenience store, nor patronized one with friendlier or more efficient personnel. Two of those personnel are Angie and Carmen, and I just can't praise them more. They could give lessons to such personnel in other, lesser, stores -- anywhere in this country. One last note: We pay for convenience. Of course. But a customer who enters this store, if he goes in the right door, will first see a large display of marked-down items to tempt him. I haven't yet surveyed closely the entire large store, but my quick looks -- there's always someone waiting for me -- indicate there is little if anything not being offered here. This is one impressive store and I'll add just one more note of praise: Anyone calling there will find the staff members even know proper telephone manners! Great store, and one I highly recommend.
